Reality Star Nick Uhlenhuth Clarifies Perception Pre-MAFS

Married At First Sight star Nick Uhlenhuth she knows what it's like now that she's signed up to appear in another reality show.

“I knew the impression that other people had, to see a real star join Married at First,” Nick, 32, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, July 18, following the start of the 20th season. “I know there will be people who watch this and still think I wasn't fully invested in the show. The amazing thing is, you're allowed to think whatever you want!”

“I gave Courtney a travel bag for our honeymoon and a gold feather necklace to represent the towels,” Nick wrote on his Instagram Stories on Saturday. “In my handwritten letter, [owls are] explain[d] as something of the Uhlenhuth family. He approached the altar wearing a necklace.”

He added, “For some reason, they don't show our gift exchange – even if I see the necklace on the altar.”

Courtney also sent Nick an anonymous gift, along with a handwritten note.

“Baby, this gift may seem weird LOL, but I'm a sports fan and now I'm a pickleball player,” Nick read the letter on Sunday, July 19, Instagram video. “I found out I have a match (you) while playing pickleball. I'm happy because I think this is something we can do together. … And [it] it ends with, 'Talk, Wifey.' I have kept this paper.”
