Mandy Moore Recalls Underage Drinking With Macaulay Culkin

Mandy Moore he got into a little mischief Macaulay Culkin while filming the 2004 movie, Saved!together.
The actor, 42, revealed in the episode of Wednesday, May 27 Evan Ross Katz'Netflix show, Shut up, Evanthat he was drinking with Culkin, 45, even though he was younger at the time.
“I remember drinking slowly,” he said. “As it happened, I said, 'Look, I didn't go to high school.' I was 18 years old.”
The teen comedy was shot in British Columbia, Canada, where the legal drinking age is 19.
Culkin was older than most of the young actors in the game Saved! cast, including it Jena Malone again Eva Amurriand he could legally drink.
“I think it was Mac, Macaulay, who introduced me and the rest of us to White Russian,” Moore recalled. “I was like, 'Milk and alcohol? This is for me, I love this! This is like ice cream, it's so good!'”
During their conversation, Moore noted that even though many of the actors were young, they didn't cause much trouble together.
“I remember very well the fun, the innocent – like, we'd take big marshmallows and throw them on people's balconies,” she said. “We were children!
Reflecting on the memories created at his expense, Moore praised the filming experience and the story of the film.
“It was a crazy, life-changing experience,” she said.

“I loved the script and the character, and I thought it was irreverent and really funny, and I like to move the needle. But I also felt so completely different from who I am that I was like, 'Oh this is a stretch, and this is unlike anything I've ever done before. So hopefully, very intentionally, this will open the door to other projects,' like people who relate to me,” Moore said in another way.
In June 2024, the This is us alum shared similar feelings about what it was like to work on the movie during an interview with her People.
“I'm haunted by memories of the set. We were all staying in the same hotel together while we were shooting, and I just remember all the time we spent alone in each other's rooms. Like, 'Okay, we're all going to Jena's room today.' Or, 'Oh, we're all going to Eva's room today, or Mac's room,' and we make dinner or order food and just hang out,” she told the outlet.
The actress added, “It was like we were all 17, 18 years old, maybe some of us were a little older, but it was a fun summer camp experience. And we knew it was really weird, special, very young.
