The facilitator Katelynn Ordone with her husband, Jaelan Ordonethey have officially separated after the death of their son.
Katelynn confirmed People on Sunday, July 12, when he and Jaelan were divorced. A day earlier, Katelynn shared photos with an unknown man on her Instagram as she reflected on her return to social media after the untimely death of her son.
“As many of you already know … I've had a hard time getting back on social media since losing Preston. I've struggled to even pick up my phone to capture new memories, knowing he won't be there anymore,” Ordone wrote on Instagram on Saturday, July 11. “It's been 443 days since my baby boy was in heaven. I'm finally starting to pick up my phone again and capture new memories more often.”
He continued, “Although it's still difficult, I'm thankful that I've reached this point because I know that's what Preston would have wanted. I truly believe that he wants his mother to continue to find happiness until we meet one day.”
Katelynn shared that she has a “new memory” she'd like to share with her fans, as she posted photos of herself smiling at the beach with a man.
“I hope to continue to participate more as I am ready,” he wrote. “Thank you so much for all the love, support, and kindness you have shown me through all of this.”
News broke in April 2025 that Preston had died in a single car accident. He was 2 years old. Both Katelynn and Jaelan were in the car at the time of the crash and sustained injuries, while daughter Paisley was at school at the time of the incident.
“Katelynn has a lot of broken bones. She had a really bad seizure. She walked for the first time today,” family friends of the two said in a video from the time. “Jaelan had to have emergency surgery on one of his legs, he has crutches in them, and pins in both of them are in different hospitals.”

The St. Mary's Parish Coroner's Office Tammany announced one month later that Preston had died of “brutal injuries from a motor vehicle accident,” and his death was classified as an accident. Katelynn stated that she does not remember anything about the accident.
“I don't remember anything about the accident. I have no memory of 2-3 days after the accident,” he said on TikTok in July 2025. I don't remember much from the hospital until the end. I suffered a severe brain injury and lost a lot of my memory.”
One month earlier, Katelynn paid Jaelan on Father's Day. “Happy Father's Day to the best dad,” he wrote on Instagram in June 2025. “No holiday will ever be the same without our Preston, but he only knew the love from his dad. We may not understand now but we will see him again one day🤍.”
