What Happened to Bethenny Frankel's Face? Drama is defined

The former Bravo star took to social media on March 12 with a video showing her fans cutting her face with a beauty tool. What appeared to be a suction cup attached to a glass tube was supposed to help Frankel's skin.

“These balls, they're supposed to change your face,” Frankel explained in a TikTok video. “I'm grinding my teeth and my jaw is tight and it hurts, so it makes me relax, I saw red when I thought it was my skin.”

However, that is not really the case.

“Stop, I'm bleeding. What the f***,” he shouted as the video continued. “Oh, my God. What is this?”

Frankel posted several videos discussing the incident. He also showed fans a bloody paper towel.

“I just opened my face,” he said in the second video. “Actually, I'm freaking out.”

In the days that followed, Frankel continued to share updates with fans. He even referred to himself as a “scarf” in several videos.

Frankel noted that he has seen the face masking product on social media. After buying one for himself, he used it and actually cut his face.

“I don't know if this is from the packaging or hitting the counter or suction but what exactly?” Frankel wrote in the comments section of his original March 12 video.

In the second video, Frankel said he is “on the mend” and fans are waiting for an update. On March 15, Frankel discussed his “scarf” in detail.

“Things happen in life, accidents happen,” he said, noting that his face was recovering. He went on to say that it was “sad” that no one from the company reached out after seeing his videos, even though he admitted that he had received a refund.

The product was Nurse Jamie Uplift-N-Glow Cups. A set of two retails for $36.00.

In a separate TikTok from March 14, Frankel tried to see if he could recreate what happened by hitting his second suction cup in his bathroom. The glass did not break.

“This was a small one and something is happening due to breastfeeding pressure or your guess is the same as mine,” the caption read. Frankel could be heard saying, “Things that go in your face are not supposed to break,” in the clip.

Did Nurse Jamie Answer Bethenny Frankel?

Nurse Jamie took to social media via video on March 15, saying the team “tried” to contact Frankel four times through social media comments and DMs.

“We wanted to clarify our communication and hopefully communicate directly to better understand what happened,” the caption read. “Our tools are made of high-quality borosilicate glass, and customer safety is always our top priority. Thank you.”

Frankel clarified on March 16 that he saw Nurse Jamie's video, calling it “disappointing” and lacking a “bedside approach.” Frankel has also made it clear that he will not take legal action.

“In life and in business, accidents happen. I will be very careful about what I put on my face and body going forward,” Frankel wrote. “The job of a king is a dangerous business.”
