The Ultimatum centers on an older couple fighting for their relationship – but is everyone still together or apart?
The hit Netflix series follows real-life couples who enter into “trial” marriages with a new partner before deciding if they're ready to commit to a real-life engagement. After finding success, Ultimatum is back for season 4 in July 2026 with lots of drama, surprise exits and possible breakups.
They don't host Nick again Vanessa Lachey how he was teased before The Ultimatum compared to other successful stories including Love Is Blind.
“It's going to feel weird,” Nick told USA Today in 2022. “But the stakes almost feel a little higher on Ultimatum because these are people who have been together for a long time.”
He continued: “The emotional tension in the room was palpable, you could feel it, it was emotional.
Vanessa, meanwhile, recalled how she and Nick were “very vulnerable” with the cast.
“We were very open about them,” she said. “There were many dinners where we sat down and had a glass of wine with them and just talked about the process and what we've been through in our lives.”
