It wouldn't be a Watch With Us entertainment list without a murder mystery series, and Netflix is bringing yet another hit to the genre with it. A Good Girl's Guide to Killing season 2.
'The Four Seasons' Season 2 – Netflix
When Steve Carell he leaves the TV show, they usually go down in his absence. Just look at the latest seasons of The office or the last few seasons of The Morning Show if you don't believe me. But season 2 of The Four Seasons It's not just the money with that trend, and it's upping the ante as Netflix's best series without Carell's sadistic character, Nick.
In case you missed the season 1 finale, Nick is dead, and as season 2 opens, six of his friends — including his ex-wife, Anne (Kerry Kenney-Silver), and heavily pregnant girlfriend, Ginny (Erika Henningsen) – they are still dealing with their grief. Jack (Is it Forte), Nick's best friend, takes it hard, and it causes a break in his already strong marriage with Kate (Fey).
Marco Calvani in Four Seasons season 2.
NetflixDanny (Colman Domingo) and Claude (Marco Calvani) have issues too – they argue about the merits of adoption and how it would change their lives. The Four Seasons it sets all this drama between beautiful places like Tuscany and Puerto Rico, so it works as both an easy escape and a wonderful look at life in the middle ages.
'Spider-Noir' Season 1 – Main Video

Nicolas Cage in Spider-Man Noir.
Main VideoSony's Spider-Man spinoffs have been more misses than hits, but the studio finally hit its stride with Spider-Noir, a better-than-expected sequel. Nicolas Cage as Ben Reilly, a non-Spider-Man superhero. He is known as “The Spider,” but has the same powers as the wallcrawler we all know and love.
Set during the Great Depression, Spider was once a superhero living in New York City until he failed to save the woman he loved, Ruby, from a tragic death. Depressed, he spends his days working as a small-time private investigator when he's not drowning his sorrows in hard liquor. When his current case leads him to cross paths with the Silvermane gang (Brendan Gleeson), Ben uncovers a great conspiracy that only the Spider can pull off. But does Ben have what it takes to save the day?
You bet. Shot in black and white, Spider-Noir it's also available to view in digitized color – take my advice and stick to black and white. Color or no color, the show is great fun, with an engaging narrative, a great supporting cast and Cage in his wild, untamed state. Peter Parker, who?
'The Pretty Girl's Guide to Murder' Season 2 – Netflix
One of the great surprises of 2024 was A Good Girl's Guide to Killingan engaging, low-key murder mystery series that saw Wednesday's Emma Myers play Pip, a British teenager who tries to wipe out his friend Sal (Rahul Pattni) name after being falsely accused of murdering his girlfriend. She succeeds, but another mystery forces her to once again play sleuth while sorting out her feelings for her boyfriend, Ravi (Zain Iqbal).
When Connor (Jude Morgan-Collie) my brother Jamie (Eden H. Davies) is lost, he knows of only one person who can help him – Pip. But he is also puzzled as to why someone kidnapped Jamie. His only clue is that Jamie is a key witness in an ongoing criminal case involving Max (Henry Ashton), who is accused of assaulting several women. Is Max involved in Jamie's disappearance? And even if he is, how can Pip prove it before Jamie's time runs out?
'Star City' Season 1 – Apple TV
Is there any broadcaster that kills it more than the Apple TV? The broadcaster may not have much content, but what it does have is great. From Separation to Widow's BayApple TV is streaming some of the best shows right now, and it's likely to add another feather to its streaming cap with Star City.
The finale of the long-running sci-fi series To All Humanity, Star City explores the interesting “what if?” scenario – what if the soviets were the first to put a man on the moon? Rhys Ifans stars as the Chief Designer of the Cosmonaut program, who not only finds a way to put a man into space without killing him, but also does it under the watchful eye of Lyudmilla Raskova (Anna Maxwell Martin), the head of the KGB in Star City, who oversees everyone and demands total loyalty to Mother Russia.
