Summer House's KJ Reads Western Apology Live On Air

Summer House's KJ Dillard he revealed that West Wilson texted him an apology one day after filming season 10, before reading the script on live TV.
Tuesday, May 5, appearance Watch What Happens Live With Andy CohenKJ, 28, shared that he received the text on April 24 but failed to open it. “I didn't even look at the message. I was afraid to look at it. I still haven't. There's one unread message in my inbox and it's his,” KJ told Cohen, 57.
When urged by both Cohen and the studio audience to read West's script aloud, KJ agreed.
“West says, 'I wanted to thank you for your words and your kindness yesterday despite the trauma. I was out in the community and I guess I didn't connect with the hurt that was there. I'm so sorry,'” KJ said. “'And I'm sending you love about your mental health. You shared a lot yesterday and I know it may not carry much weight right now but I'm always fighting for the best for you. I know it's going to take time but whenever you feel like you're ready, a lunch or a phone call can go a long way in the healing spirit. There's no need to respond, take your time.'”
After he said the text, KJ quickly admitted that it was “painful” to review what West had sent him. “It's just sad because it's like he and I got along very well,” he explained.
KJ cut the visitor in time WWHL, Jamie Lynn Siglerthrew him behind. “Don't let it hurt you, I think you needed to take your time to read it, that's totally fine, and I think what he wrote was really good,” The Sopranos alum, 44, said.
West texts KJ, who is a close friend of West's ex Ciara Millercomes in light of West, 31, and Amanda Batula going public about their romance. The surprising relationship, revealed in a joint Instagram post shared by West and Amanda, 34, on March 31, was one of the many topics explored during filming. Summer House reunion, which will be shown on Tuesday, May 26.
KJ said last month that West didn't contact him after his romance with Amanda was confirmed, despite West saying he was with them during an episode of his podcast “Show Me Something.” KJ said on Threads when the podcast episode went down, “I check my messages, but I never got anything.”
KJ went on to hint that there is more to Amanda and West's relationship than meets the eye. “Let me out before I get accused of cyberbullying again,” KJ wrote in another Threads post. “Truth hurts, madam, love is tough.”
The reality TV star has voiced her concerns about West's relationship with Amanda on social media in recent weeks. After the pair showed off PDA at a Yankees game on April 17, KJ appeared to lash out at the duo, calling someone “sickos” via Threads. “I just threw up in my mouth,” he added at the time.
