Suede Brooks he thought about his relationship with her Drakesaying that he sent her threatening messages after they broke up.

Drake, 39, and Brooks were first linked romantically in July 2022 after they were spotted together in Saint-Tropez.
“We dated … I would say, on and off for a few months,” Brooks recalled Sunday. “I was going to see him in Toronto, and one day I said, 'I'm tired of this.'”
When the two finally stopped, Brooks said she feared for her life.
“When we finished things, it was … I was very afraid for my safety,” he said. “And for a lot of things, the long time I lived in LA, the things they said to me were very scary. I was 21 or 22 at the time, and when you hear those things being said to you from the most powerful artists in the world who have the most power and can do the unthinkable in an instant, it was still very scary.”
Brooks said she received threatening messages after they broke up because of “miscommunication.”
“[I was] I get messages saying he's going to kill me word for word, that's what he said,” he said. It was a miscommunication. He thought I was saying something I shouldn't say. He thought I was talking bad about him in LA and I never spoke.”
Brooks said that after receiving the suspicious messages, she did not leave her house “for about three months,” fearing for her safety.
“I didn't go out, it's like I didn't go out, because I was scared, especially someone with that power,” he said. “I know I've grown a lot from it, and I know he's grown a lot from it. I think even then it affected both of us, because it was like a lot of communication. But he's talented.”
Brooks added that she doesn't like to talk about their breakup because she still has a lot of respect for Drake.
“I hate to give back things like that but you have talent, I know you have a good heart,” she said. “I don't wish her the best for her future. I hope she finds someone she loves and cherishes for the rest of her life. It wasn't me, and it got to the point where it was almost like physically and emotionally I can't give you what you need, so I'm going to leave you.”
Brooks added that he never “speak to her for a minute” as he doesn't like to talk to his girlfriends after kicking them out.
“Like if you've abandoned me, I'm gone,” he said.
