RHOBH's Crystal Minkoff Latest Health Details

The old one Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Crystal Minkoff he opened up about the consequences of the recent health scare.
“I'm late coming here because I was at my doctor's,” Minkoff, 43, said during the Monday, April 27, episode of his “Humble Brag With Crystal and Cynthia” podcast, stressing the importance of prioritizing mental and physical health. “My blood pressure was very high this week, we talked about it a few weeks ago because now I'm awake.”
Minkoff was not happy to see his blood pressure reading 160 over 110.
“I was like, 'Okay, so we're in the area [a] stroke now,'” he commented.
While thinking about her health challenges, Minkoff said she felt a “constant pressure” in her chest, which she told her doctor.
“They took my blood pressure when I got there, it's like, 'Your heart is beating fast,'” he recalled. “It's too low. He's like, 'That pressure makes your heart work really hard. It's true. So we did my EKG and he said my heart is slightly enlarged.”
Minkoff talked to a health professional about next steps, adding, “We've doubled my medication. He's like, '80 percent is definitely dying, but 20 percent is all the little changes I can make.'
He continued: “He said, 'You don't exercise enough.' For women – mainly because I was talking about weights – I'm not interested in men's weights. Women need to do weights because we lose muscle mass faster as we age.”
The former reality star was also told to prioritize cardio.
“You want me to do five days or five hours of exercise a week.” He said, 'You are 43 years old. Hiking is not enough to get your heart pumping.' “He's like, 'You have to get to the point where it makes sense to you.' I need to feel like I have to exercise or I don't feel sane.”
Minkoff pointed out that his specialist is a “very famous doctor” who is known to be “very healthy.”
“His whole thing is exercise first. He doesn't like pills, but he's also like, 'If you need medicine, you need medicine.' I'm only saying this because I'm 43 and you're like, 'Look, you can wait 10 years, but if you're in your 50s, you're not going to have any motivation left,' ” he explained. “I have to start now or I will be really hurt [my] 60s.”
Minkoff, who has been candid about her recovery from an eating disorder, previously spoke about her life after experiencing a “scary” incident on the 2024 episode. RHOBH.
“Our history has a history of high blood pressure [and] high blood pressure and it's something I know I've struggled with, but I didn't realize it would get to this point,” he said in a statement after feeling “dizzy” while the cast was on a trip to Spain. … I've never faced my own mortality.”
