Milo Ventimiglia's Wife Shares Parenthood Insights

Milo Ventimigliathe wife of Jarah Mariano shares rare glimpses into their life as parents as the couple prepares to welcome their second child.
Taking to his Instagram on Saturday, June 13, Mariano, 42, posted a carousel of photos and pictures showing This is us alum and their 18-month-old daughter Ke'ala.
The beautiful photo showed Mariano holding Ke'ala as she stretched out to touch the horse.
Another clip showed Ventimiglia, 48, posing with Ke'ala strapped to his back and a dog in front of him.
Other photos showed Mariano's growing baby bump as the couple prepared to welcome their second child together. Ke'ala's face was obscured in all the photos, apparently to protect her privacy.
“Some random thoughts on the first half of 2026. Being there, being grateful, just being there. Sending love to you all,” Mariano captioned the post.
Mariano and Ventimiglia welcomed Ke'ala in January 2025, two weeks after the couple's Malibu home was destroyed in the California wildfires. A year after Ke'ala was born, they announced that they were expecting their second child together.
IGilmore Girls a student appeared Jimmy Kimmel Live! in February and talked about how he was adjusting to fatherhood and joked they “must be crazy” to go back with a second pregnancy.
“Actually he's doing well. He sleeps through the night. He likes to wake up at 5.40 in the morning and talk to himself, knocking. My wife and I are lying in bed like, 'Are you with him. [pacifier]?' 'I don't know. I can't separate from the guard.' 'Have you eaten yourself?' 'I don't know. I can't take apart the monitor,'” he said. “And then you're like, after a while, you know this. You go in there, you're like, well, he didn't take himself out, and you're with him [pacifier]so that the world will be beautiful.ā
Ventimiglia added that she originally had big plans to be a “miracle parent” but was forced to face reality and do her best after a difficult year.
“Listen, my wife is so incredible ā Jarah, when you look at her, she's the most incredible person, creature, kind of everything. She handles everything beautifully. But, you know, I mean, if you're a first-time parent, you think you're going to be this miracle parent,” he explained.
He continued, “I was working hard. I was like, 'Cool, man. I'm going to be healthy. We're going to feed this baby organic. We're going to buy blenders, do all these things. We're going to argue with Kale about the blueberries at the farmers market.' Then, after a while, you're like, 'Oh, man, we had quite a year.'
