“I wasn't planning on talking about this, but since it was brought online and took on a life of its own, I feel like I have to say something,” Dodson wrote on his Instagram Story on Wednesday, April 29.
Dodson explained that his time at the 2026 country music festival, which ran from April 24 to 26, was spent “enjoying the night like everyone else” but somehow got caught up in “public suspicion” without his consent.
“Somehow, that turned into public accusations about both of us without a conversation or trying to understand what happened,” he continued. “I didn't come to go back and forth and put on oil or anything. The truth is that I had friends, nothing else.”
Dodson added that he was just trying to “clear the air and keep going.”
He concluded, “That's all I'm going to say about it. 🍟 no matter what.”
Earlier this week, McBee, 33, accused Eklund, 29, of cheating on her after she left Stagecoach one morning.
“I left a day early because I have real commitments. I just received two more calls about this situation,” the statement said. The McBee Dynasty: The Real American Cowboys the star wrote on his Instagram on Monday, April 27.
McBee said he was sent text messages and videos of Eklund allegedly having sex with Dodson.
“I still don't know what happened,” he said in a video on social media that has since been deleted. “I just know that it was holding hands, grinding, dancing, getting drunk at the party.”
Eklund, meanwhile, denied the allegations and expressed that he was disappointed in McBee for accusing him online before hearing his side of the story.
“This is really sad to see, and I'm speechless,” she wrote on her Instagram Story on Monday. “Posting everything online before we've even spoken is very disappointing and unfair, as I've defended Steven many times during our relationship.”
In a subsequent post, Eklund shared a screenshot of a text allegedly from McBee that read, “What a hook. Unreal. You want to be at every party meeting every guy possible. Have a good life f***ing slut.”
“Everything in this relationship I did secretly and respectfully, even when it was not easy,” he concluded. “This situation is painful, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I'm not looking to escalate things, I want it to end here. I've said what I think is necessary about his actions and I plan to take time to process and move forward.
McBee and Eklund have been dating since 2025 and made their debut as a couple at BravoCon 2025.
