Liam Payne's Son Named Sole Beneficiary of Singer's Legacy

Liam PayneThe son has been named as one of the beneficiaries of the famous singer's place.
According to court documents obtained by TMZBear Gray Payne has been awarded the One Direction star's estate, which totals around $28 million.
The documents show that some of the money can be used now, but most of it must be kept in a trust until Bear, now 9, turns 18.
Liam and his ex-partner Cheryl Cole welcomed a son in March 2017. More than seven years later, the former One Direction member he died at the age of 31 after falling to his death in a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Cole, 42, is a music attorney Richard Bray have been named as executors of Liam's estate after it was revealed that the singer did not have a will at the time of his death.
“Liam wasn't just a pop star and celebrity, he was a son, brother, uncle, dear friend and father to our 7-year-old son,” Cole wrote on Instagram a few days after Liam's death in October 2024. “The son now has to face the fact that he may never see his father again.”
He continued, “What worries me the most is that one day, Bhere will be able to receive the disgusting reports and media abuse that we've seen. … It breaks my heart that I won't be able to protect him from that in the future.”

“Somewhere in the corners of the world Magic still exists 💫✨🪄,” he said he wrote in April. “I don't know what took me so long to enjoy @waltdisneyworld but I totally escaped my baby the last few weeks. What a beautiful place 🥰.”
Since Liam's death, Louis Tomlinson lit One Direction's close bond as they navigate the grief and loss of their friend.
“Generally, there's a closeness — it feels a lot closer than it was,” Tomlinson, 34, he told Billboard in January. “But I think we're all busy, it's hard to keep that consistency. And it depends on the person. Niall [Horan] – and I hope he can say the same about me – we couldn't text each other for a year and then go have a beer and talk non-stop.”
Last month, Horan, 32, Liam was honored in his latest the song “End of an Era.”
“We had it, pure magic / Remembering what it was like / Time flies so fast / I couldn't tell you right,” Horan opened the track. “It feels like we're giving up / Things we shouldn't be doing / One breath and it's over / The end of an era.”
