I was going into my senior year of college at Purdue at the time, I'm a crazy girl and not really a sports person. So I can honestly say it was my first time in a racetrack!” he wrote.
Samantha explained that she and other members of the advertising team were assigned different tasks for the day because of the scorching heat. When the PR woman asked if she wanted to ride in one of the cars – which was air conditioned – she said yes. He thought that Kyle, who was driving, was an advertising worker.
“I got in the car and the first thing I said when I saw him in his Chevy tee and ice cold was, 'Wow you got a better job than me.'” he wrote. “He looked at me funny thinking I knew who he was and we left. I talked a lot, I was very surprised, then I invited him to join our party that night which he declined because he had to work. I didn't know he had a truck race. So I thought that was the end of it until Mr. Shy got someone to ask for my number.”
Samantha added, “We talked on the phone for 4 months before we met and started dating and the rest is history! Fast forward another 16 years and here we are with 2 kids! Love ya babe 😍.”
