Kailyn Lowry Spent 'Almost' $1 Million in Custody War

The old one The New Mother star Kailyn Lowry I discovered the truth why dating some ex's is easier than others.
“It depends on the day,” said Lowry, 34, during an appearance on Monday, June 22 Gia GiudiceThe “Casual Chaos” podcast. “One of the dads, we're email only. So we don't call unless we schedule it. We don't communicate by text or anything like that. Just solid email.”
Without sharing names, Lowry said things are “very strange” with one of the seniors.
“I spent about a million dollars on that child custody case,” she said. “It's been a bad trip.”
Lowry is the mother of seven children with four different fathers.
She welcomed first son Isaac Elliott, 16, with a high school boyfriend Joe Rivera. Her pregnancy was documented during MTV 16 and Pregnant in 2010. Lowry and ex Javi Marroquin share son Lincoln, 12. She also welcomed sons Lux, 8, and Creed, 5, and Chris Lopez. Lowry's three young children – Rio, 3, and twins Verse and Valley, 2 – are shared with her ex-husband Elijah Scott.
Lowry explained that social media “tea leaves” make it “really hard” when it comes to parenting.
“That's a challenge because they watch what I do, what the fathers of the children do, and then they have ideas.” The kids see that,” he explained. “If it wasn't for that, I feel like it would be a lot easier.”
Even though Lowry and Scott split in July 2025, they're still neighbors — which makes things easier.
“We share a way in. … It's worth it,” he said during Monday's podcast episode. “There's no need for us to go to court, we don't have a child support letter.”
He went on to say, “If anyone was asking me what my perfect reproductive state is, that's it, because it's so easy. It really is. I mean, the neighbor is crazy.”
Lowry joked that her current boyfriend, Isaac “Ike” Knightonhe “loved it” and laughed at the whole situation.
“I'm sure she likes it. I'm sure. I'm sure her ex loves it too,” she said. “Of course it's the reasons for a reality show, but I digress.”
Lowry gave a different breeding update on the “LadyGang” podcast late last month.
“Of course, the parent you have is going to make or break the whole experience,” he said in the May 27 podcast episode. “It's hard enough with the most supportive partner in the world.”
She added, “When you have a partner or you don't have a partner and you just go into it blindly. … When you're in the throes of parenting and mothering and you think you're going to raise a child with someone, it's like putting you in, like, fight or flight mode.”
