Justin Hartley Season 3 Tracker: When Does It Go?

Season 3 of Justin Hartley's hit series Tracker comes to an end.

Based on Jeffery Deavera novel The Never Game, Tracker centers around Colter (Hartley), who travels the country helping to find missing people (or sometimes dogs) and solve cases that others couldn't or couldn't. Hartley, 49, also serves as an executive producer and has revealed how much the show will push her character.

For three seasons, the CBS series has found success with its mix of intense cases, regular guest stars and Hartley at the center of it all. Tracker also went through a series of character changes, with Robin Weigert, Abby McEnany again Eric Grise coming out of the show.

“I think it's revolutionary. If I can change those characters — Randy or Reenie or Bobby — it's not just people who pick up the phone and say, 'Okay, here's the answer.' That's when the show calls you,” the executive producer Elwood Reid you are only told Us Weekly May 2025. “The challenge is when you learn about them, which I thought was interesting. That's the challenge of the program to not get into a mold.”

Recently, Reid weighed in on the on-screen changes. “What we see is that there are actors who come and if it works, we will bring them back,” he said. Us December 2025. “I think the show won't always do that. But when it does, it makes the world feel a little more connected.”

Reid noted that there was only one game going on: Hartley's favorite character.

“The audience depends because they've seen that character before. But I think they still think that the central DNA of the show is Colter. With this guy, what makes him likable is that he's a mystery to him,” he added. “He is an enigma to the audience. We see him in his spare time piecing together pieces of his past.”

He concluded, “I don't know if we'll ever get it all together, but he's going to struggle to keep doing that. That's just how we've thought about it. The biggest improvement we've made this year – in my opinion – was getting people in the same room. Just that connection, I think the audience enjoys seeing their characters in the same physical place.”

Fiona Rene the only OG – other than Hartley – left with a regular series Chris Lee. During season 3, Colter had to balance finding missing people while dealing with the revelation that his mother was responsible for his father's death.
