Joseph Duggar Family Tributes In Instagram Post Before Arrest

The old one The Countdown Continues star Joseph Garrett Duggar celebrated his family in a series of Instagram messages written four years before his arrest for allegedly molesting a 9-year-old child.
Joseph, 31, and his wife, Kendra Duggarthey started their family's Instagram account in February 2019 but stopped updating it in November 2021. Their last post was published on November 3, 2021, in honor of their daughter Addison's birthday. (Joseph and Kendra have four children, Garrett David, 7, Addison Renee, 6, Brooklyn Praise, 5, and Justus, 3.)
Alongside several photos of the family — including Joseph giving birth to Addison and holding her hand on the trip — he and Kendra, 27, wrote in November 2021, “Happy Birthday sweet girl!!! We love watching this girl's sweet personality blossom over the past two years! We look forward to making many more memories.”
The Duggars' Instagram posts were pretty rare in 2021. The whole family got together for the July 4th holiday when Joseph and Kendra shared photos of their fourth anniversary trip to Branson, Missouri, that September.

Joseph was charged with lewd and lascivious behavior involving the molestation of a victim under the age of 12 and lewd and lascivious behavior by a person 18 or older, according to the Bay County Sheriff's Office.
The Tontitown Police Department reported the alleged past sexual abuse to Bay County investigators. The 14-year-old victim told investigators that Joseph sexually assaulted her on a family vacation in Panama City Beach, Florida, in 2020 when she was 9 years old.
“The victim reported that Duggar repeatedly asked her to sit on his lap. As the vacation continued, he again asked her to sit next to him on the couch and covered them with a blanket,” Bay County police said in a press release. “During this time, Duggar was handling the underwear of the deceased and eating his genitals, Duggar was rubbing his hands on her thighs.
According to the media, Joseph was confronted with these allegations, at which time Joseph “finally apologized for his actions and the incidents stopped after the apology.” Joseph is currently awaiting extradition to Bay County, as of publication.

This latest argument comes after Joseph's older brother, Josh Duggarhe was sentenced to 12 years in prison in 2022 for possessing child sexual abuse material. Josh has maintained his innocence and continues to challenge his conviction as he serves his sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution in Seagoville, Texas.
Before his arrest, Josh said in a statement that he “acted without reason” when he was accused in a 2015 police report of molesting five girls, two of whom were his sisters, when he was young.
“I agreed [my actions] to my parents who took several steps to help me fix this situation,” Josh said at the time.” “We spoke to the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing, and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling. I understood that if I continued in this wrong way I would end up ruining my life.”
His statement continued, “I would do anything to go back to those teenage years and do different things. I sought forgiveness from those I wronged and asked Christ to forgive me and come into my life. In my life today, I am very grateful for God's grace, mercy and redemption.”
