Jenna Bush Hager Weeps for Savannah Guthrie's Interview

Jenna Bush Hager he became emotional as the last part of the Hoda Kotb's sit down interview with Savannah Guthrie aired on Friday, March 27.
“All he's said to you these past two days is Savannah,” Bush Hager, 44, said through tears on Friday. Today broadcast. “He was as brave as I can imagine.
He added, “He took his pain, his heart, his faith, his family, in the midst of his despair, and put it on the table for all of us. He didn't have to do that and he has. And I think for all those people who have heartache, they feel seen.”
Kotb sat down with his former colleague in a three-part interview as a way to find out Nancy Guthrie it continues. Savannah cried through the interview, discussing her mother's disappearance and addressing the rumors surrounding the situation.
Savannah's teammates confirmed on Friday that she will officially return to the Today Monday's show, April 6. He talked about reuniting with his current family during his interview with Kotb.
“When I look Today show, it's the answer to all my dreams, actually better than my dreams,” said Savannah. “It's hard to imagine doing it because it's a place of joy and ease. I can't come back and try to be something I'm not. But I can't come back because it's my family.”
He added, “I think it's part of my purpose right now. I want to smile, and when I do, it will be real. And my happiness will be my opposition. My happiness will be my answer.”
Savannah said that working on Today “makes her happy” despite what is going on in her family.
“If not, I will say it.” And I have been very grateful to have this family, I consider it my family, my big family, and when times are difficult, you want to be with your family,” he added. “And I want to be with my family. So I don't know if I can do it. I don't know if I will be mine. But I would like to try.”

Savannah's interview aired more than 50 days after her mother, Nancy, went missing from her home in Arizona. Authorities have not named the suspects in the 84-year-old man's disappearance, but the FBI has released surveillance footage showing the suspect.
“I'm happy and grateful to the investigators and the technology companies that were able to find that video,” said Savannah on Thursday, March 26. “So, I hope that at least people with good hearts and compassion will stop the reckless and cruel speculation that has started to spread. I'm glad that people can see what's coming to our door.”
Savannah previously told Kotb that her family is “in pain,” urging anyone with information about Nancy's disappearance to come forward.
“To think about what he's been through. I wake up every night in the middle of the night. Every night,” Savannah said, “in the dark, I think it's his fear. And it's unimaginable.”
