“Happy Mother's Day to my beautiful wife, Katey!” Jed, 27, wrote on Instagram on Sunday, May 10. “You are the best mom our kids could ever ask for. Watching you love Truett, Nora, Emma, and Elsie so well makes me love you even more.”

A few months before Jed's entrance, Joseph, 31, was arrested amid allegations of molesting a 14-year-old victim while the 9-year-old was on a family vacation in Florida. Joseph was charged with lewd and lascivious conduct involving the molestation of a victim under the age of 12 and lewd and lascivious conduct by a person 18 or older, according to a press release from the Bay County Sheriff's Office.
Joseph has denied all charges. He was released on $600,000 bond in March and has been reunited with his wife, Kendra Duggar.
The alleged victim told a Tontitown, Arkansas Police Department detective in an interview and investigation that there were multiple instances of sexual assault involving Joseph, according to an affidavit obtained by Us Weekly. At the time, Joseph was 25 years old and Kendra was pregnant with their third child. (The two share four children.)
The accuser recalls feeling “uncomfortable” and “confused” during the incidents, sharing that Joseph “eventually approached the victim and apologized for his actions,” at which point “the incidents stopped happening,” according to the affidavit.
In a court order filed earlier this month, Joseph's legal team asked a Florida court to allow them to question officials from the Department of Children and Families, Big Ben, the Child Protection Team, who interviewed the alleged victim before he was arrested.
Joseph's attorneys have the right to speak with “any other law enforcement or child protection agency involved in this investigation (including state equivalents, particularly Arkansas).” They also want to receive evidence collected by child protection officers in their investigation.
“The Defendant has the right to receive the testimony of the witness, including the records and evidence obtained from the witness in order to determine the correct decision as to whether the Defendant is guilty or innocent in the trial,” reads the legal brief.
