In the city star Danielle Olivera is ready to introduce her baby boy to fans after his arrival this morning.
“Welcome to the world, Aidan Santos Heavey 💙,” Danielle, 37, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, July 18, to share the first photo of the baby resting in the isolette NICU. “He's making his own rules, Aidan arrived on June 21st at only 28 weeks (+5 days). He's small, strong and doesn't care about our timeline.”
Danielle's boyfriend, Eoin Heavey, revealed via Instagram last month when their son arrived 10 weeks before his due date and was “going to summer camp in the NICU” for about three months.
On Saturday, Danielle shared an update on Aidan's developmental progress following his premature birth.
“He is there thriving in the @stonybrookmedicine NICU and getting stronger every day while keeping Mom and Dad on our toes,” she wrote. “To the amazing NICU team at Stony Brook, our family and friends, and all the NICU moms who reached out with love, advice and hope — thank you. You have given us more than you can possibly know.”
Danielle also explained how excited she is for Aidan to finally leave the hospital.
“We can't wait for the day we finally bring you home, Aidan,” Danielle concluded. “Until then, we'll be cheering you on every step of the way.”

“We always talked about being parents as we still love each other, too [Eoin is] very close to his family. “I'm very close to mine, and I think we knew this was going to be in our future,” Danielle said you are only told Us Weekly in June before welcoming her baby boy. “He's been supporting me all the time and making sure my needs are met and holding my hand through the whole thing. … he's been doing all the cooking, cleaning, and heavy lifting, he says. He's been great.”
