He added at the time, “Dick Clark Productions created this thing and you feel so happy to be in this building because people have worked so hard to get to this point and it feels easy. It feels powerful, not buttoned up so I hope everyone has a good time.”

The AMAs will be held on Monday, May 25, 2026 – Memorial Day – from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Guest List for 2026 American Music Awards Revealed
The full guest list for the AMAs has yet to be revealed, though host Queen Latifah will be joined by the likes of Billy Idol, Busta Rhymes, Karol G, Katseye, Keith Urban, Riley Green, Sombr, Teddy Swims, Teyana Taylor and Pussycat Dolls. BTS is also set to make a special appearance.
“Many of my favorite artists will be on this show from Sombr to Olivia Dean,” Latifah teased the AP. “Then there are secret concerts. I can't give them all away, but we have New Kids on the Block, which takes me back to my childhood, and they still rock.”
In addition, AMA presenters include Alysa Liu, Anthony Ramos, Hilary Duff, John Legend, Lisa Rinna, Ludacris, Nikki Glaser, Paul Abdul again Matt Rife.

Swift, who has won the most AMAs in the event's history with 40 awards, earned eight nods at the 2026 event. She won Art of the Year, Best Female Pop Artist, Album of the Year, Best Pop Album, Song of the Year, Best Music Video, Best Pop Song and Song of the Summer.
Swift will be honored with the Artist of the Year award Bad Bunny, Bruno Mars, BTS, Harry Styles, Justin Bieber, Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, Morgan Wallen again Sabrina Carpenter.
It is not known if Swift will attend the AMAs in person. It's been a long time recently seen New York City with her boyfriend, Travis Kelceon May 22, 2026.
