After Nina stabbed Jack with a syringe full of Drew Cain's (Cameron Mathison) paraplegic, of course, he was rushed to the hospital. General Hospital. But because Nina refused to inject him again, even though Willow Tait Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) wanted Nina to do it.
We know that Jack is not locked into the syndrome. It's obvious you're cheating. And because Cullum is rich and scheming and wants to kill Jack, he continues to deceive Cullum into thinking he is harmless. But Jack talked to Nina and that's why he started helping her. And if you remember, Willow wanted Nina to keep injecting Jack to lock her in just like she had Drew. But when Jack talked to Nina and revealed that she wasn't really trapped, she just failed.
So, now he's lying to Willow who thinks he's continuing to inject Jack. But there is none. So Nina goes to see Jack for the last time Turning Woods, you know, he should have injected him again. But instead he spit the syringe into the plant. And Nina recently told Jack that he is her only way out of this mess. And he may be right, even more than he realizes.
Cullum's Medical Control Over Jack in GH
So, Cullum told Jack that he saved himself by having a stroke. Because now he's neutral unless Cullum lifts a finger. And if you remember, he told all the medical people that he was Jack's medical representative, which I think is probably a fake. But Cullum knows Jack can't speak to deny it. And at this point, Cullum decided to go ahead and kill Jack, taking him off his plate as a future problem. But Cullum must be careful.
So, after threatening Jack, you know, he panicked at what Cullum was saying and asked Nina to go to Valentin for help. And now it looks like Carly and Valentin are actually considering it. But their help may not be available in time. And the most important thing is to block Cullum's access to Jack right now.
Jack and Nina's Wedding Strategy at General Hospital
As his medical representative, Cullum can come and go like his family. But if Jack acts like, “Oh, I just got my reflexes,” he can change his medical proxy to Nina. And to add another layer of protection, Jack and Nina can get married while he's still alive Turning Woods. And from then on, as Jack's devoted new wife, Nina could make all the medical decisions. GH Shocker: How This Could Shake Port Charles
However, if Jack and Nina are defeated, it could turn Port Charles upside down. So most people would be perfectly happy, especially Carly and Valentin. I think their heads would explode if their exes hit them. Not that Carly or Valentin want their exes back. I don't think they would be jealous. But I think they can be salty. Carly made it clear to Jack that she hates him for hiring Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) at WSB and putting her daughter in danger. And Valentin hates Jack for turning on him after decades of friendship.
Plus, Carly hates Nina. Full stop. And that feeling is relative. So, marrying Jack might put a smile on Nina's face. Because you know how annoying Carly and Valentin are going to be because Nina cursed a little and sneaked up on Carly in sloppy seconds. I don't think Valentin or Carly would care that much if they got married because, you know, we can see that they fall for each other. I don't think Valentin will want Nina in danger and his alignment with Jack will put him on Cullum's radar as a problem to deal with.
And I'm sure many people would have strong opinions about Jack and Nina's marriage. Of course, Willow would be surprised. But Nina can play that and tell her daughter that she is doing it to protect her. And I think Josslyn will be surprised. Because Jack is her boss and he was in love with her mother, Carly. And Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) might feel some way about Nina marrying Brennan.
A Potential GH Love Story
Downstairs, Jack and Nina tying the knot would have the whole town, all of Port Charles, in a frenzy. And it would make Cullum angry and it would take away his energy. And I think that would be a very surprising result. I love the idea of Jack and Nina being smitten for non-romantic reasons and then mysteriously falling in love. I like that.
And a huge red flag to hear is that Cynthia Watros said in a recent interview that she sees a possible future for Nina and Jack's romance and Cynthia said she's ready for it. He jokes that there aren't a lot of eligible bachelors in Port Charles. That's why they have to pass each other. And he and Carly have several men in common. There was Franco Baldwin, (Roger Howarth) Sonny, Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), and Drew for starters. And now, of course, there's Valentin. And that means Jack could be next, if he plays the way I think he will.
Enemies to Lovers on General Hospital
I like good enemies for trope lovers. And if you remember, Nina and Jack used to hate each other after she went to him to get Willow help and then she wanted the spy Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) to find Valentin and she didn't give birth and she was starting to hate him more. So Nina married Jack after putting him in the hospital and after everything he did she said to him a big soap.
Although it was not Nina's intention to have that stroke, it did happen. And we all know that he is known for being impulsive. So, I saw Jack and Nina talking and suggesting this wedding out of left field as a Hail Mary plan to protect Jack. So, we'll see.
