Farrah Abraham's Salon Drama Explained: Her Response, More

The New Mother alum Farrah Abraham is facing controversy after a hairdresser allegedly left her and her daughter Sophia for 12 hours without paying or advertising the salon as promised.
Salon owner @hairbyfknslay's claims quickly went viral on April 13, 2026, prompting Abraham to respond to the allegations with his own take on the situation.

What Happens Before Farrah Abraham's Stylist Speaks
Farrah Abraham visited Marseya McAnallyhairstylist based in Fort Worth, Texas, to get her and her daughter, Sophia, ready.
McAnally – known as Slay – said they plan to do a social media partnership where Abraham will promote his salon and the stylist behind it all by sharing before and after photos. McAnally began by teasing who his new client was on April 13, 2026.
“You won't believe who has hair,” McAnally wrote in the video, along with her caption, “Hint: She was 16 when you met her 🖤.”
McAnally showed off braided sections of Abraham's hair and told her followers, “When it comes to k-tips, blonding and ANY kind of extensions realIy … I preach and I preach. Maintenance.”
He added, “Not even all the money in the world can save you from the damage associated with improper home maintenance.” [for extensions].” McAnally noted that there was an “early session” before they touched up all of her hair with the new color.
When Things Went South During Farrah Abraham's Salon Tour
“If Farrah Abraham asks you to do her hair – DONT DO IT. I PROMISE ITS WORTH IT,” Marseya McAnally said in a snippet of her follow-up video posted on April 13, 2026. “FARRAH ABRAHAM went without paying and blocked me before sharing what she agreed to do. She posts pictures as she agrees and doesn't.”
The hairstylist continued, “A BIG THANK YOU to @a.chemicalromance for helping slay the ENTIRE 12 hour session 💞🖤,” a shout out to makeup artist @beautybykelseyxoxo.

Abraham was accused of arriving at his collection two hours later with his hair braided. McAnally said he and his team worked 12-hour days on Abraham and his daughter, Sophia, and didn't finish until midnight.
Apparently there was a disagreement between Abraham and McAnally, so the MTV alum allegedly refused to give the artist a stylist or tag on any content despite taking pictures of the finished product. McAnally shared a photo of Abraham smiling as his hair was styled and curled.
“The way he paid $0 and did 0 marketing,” McAnally quoted in his video talk about the game.

Tyler Baltierra Responds To Claims About Farrah Abraham's Salon Visit
A friend The New Mother alum Tyler Baltierra it was heard about the drama of the salon.
“I'm so sorry this happened to you,” Baltierra wrote to Marseya McAnally in the comments section of her video. “You gave your time, money and resources to a privileged person and you trusted him to respect that. I am proud of you for speaking up, especially knowing that you are more vulnerable than he is.”
“That takes courage and is overlooked,” he continued. “I hope at least some of the stress is over now and you can do something special with you and your beautiful family. It's only up from here, I promise! 🫡🫶🙌.”
Farrah Abraham Breaks Her Silence on Salon Controversy
“When a jealous fake mom talks her mouth off and thinks I even need to do her a favor by replying,” Farrah Abraham began her response via Instagram Stories on April 13, 2026. “(SAME OLD SAD JOKE – IM BORED & hairdressers need to take their mental health seriously & stop playing the victim when first texting sick people ruining their businesses with their rude mouths – harassing a group of celebrities and a celebrity was kind to a jealous hater – enjoy posting my pictures that cause the needy.”

Abraham said playing the “victim card is sad” in another statement posted on Instagram Stories. “Free color is NOTHING. Your party is poor.”
“I'm glad you didn't do my daughter's hair and I'm glad I met 2 other moms who were happy to work with us,” she continued. “Tell your man to stop buying $$$$ from my 18+ top platforms.”
Abraham also posted a series of photos of himself and Sophia dressed up and ready to promote.
