Euphoria's Alamo Sex Proposals Maddy Before Death

After Euphoria viewers questioned what really happened between Alamo and Maddy, the hypothetical series finale clarified that they had a sexual relationship.
Sunday, May 31, episode, Maddy (Alexa Demie) visited the Alamo (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) at his strip club after making a deal with him in the past to save Nate (Jacob Elordi) health. Cassie's (Sydney Sweeney) the husband died anyway but now Maddy was in debt to Alamo, who was in no position to collect it in the end.
Instead, Alamo thought about his life choices before taking a trip to Maddie. Specifically, he raised Maddy by asking her to be with her children to have a healthy family life instead of using drugs and other seedy things.
Alamo then began to touch Maddy – who landed on his lap – but the scene was cut short before the viewer could see what happened next. At that time Ali (Colman Domingo) started shooting the club to get Alamo's attention. Without interruption, the audience is made to think that Maddy allowed the Alamo's development – even briefly – to keep herself alive.
The confirmation came after the previous episode left viewers confused. In an earlier season episode, Alamo made Maddy wear a bathing suit and get into a hot tub. He finally agreed to help Maddy get the $1 million needed to save Nate and end the incident.

Viewers then wondered if this incident meant that Maddy had to sleep with Alamo to seal the deal, but that was not made clear.
The HBO series, which premiered in 2019, originally followed troubled high school student Rue as she struggles to stay sober after rehab, and reveals the complicated lives of those around her. Euphoria was quickly renewed for a second season after its premiere, but it took nearly three years for episodes to air.
The wait between season 2 to season 3 was quite long due to scheduling conflicts, industrial strikes, schedule overruns and other commitments.
Creator Sam Levinsoncommitment to his temporary series The Idol and two strikes by the WGA and SAG-AFTRA led to season 3 being pulled. The show officially returned in 2026 when Rue got caught up in the world of drug trafficking, Cassie turned to OnlyFans to make money while her husband, Nate, was pushed to the brink by a debt he owed to some dangerous people.
Before Euphoria wrapped its third season, Levinson wouldn't directly confirm — or deny — what's to come for the show.
“[I write] every season like it's the last season,” he told Variety in April.[I have] there are no plans [for season 4].”
He continued: “I want to end this with my strength, I am cutting.” [episodes] 7 and 8 still. I put the finishing touches. I just want to deliver an af**king slam dunk season.”
Euphoria now streaming on HBO Max.
