Emily Blunt he's going public about himself The Devil Wears Prada character, Emily Charlton, becoming a “lesbian icon.”
Appears on the Thursday, June 11, episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy CohenBlunt, 43, was asked to explore the sexuality of her famous character.
“Emily Charlton has become the darling of gay women and fans have been shipping her with Andy Sachs for a long time [played by Anne Hathaway].” the host Cohen58, he said while reading Blunt a fan question. “Would you like to see him openly gay in the future?”

There are these girls who are so magnetic and beautiful and so cool. You feel smaller in their presence. I totally remember how strong 16, 17 year old girls can be. I look at them now – my younger sister is 18 – and they seem so old. And tall – I mean, what is that? My brother is 6ft 4in now. They all seem so tall.”
In 2014, he told Attorney that he was hugging that group of fans, he explained. “I know that's my population. I made that clear to my fans.”
He added, “I love it. I think it's really cool, because one day I hope to be a gay icon.”
