Duggar Family Members Reach Out To Joseph After Arrest

Joseph DuggarThe victim's family has not been silent since he was arrested on child molestation charges in March 2026. Many relatives reached out to the 31-year-old while he was incarcerated – some offering prayers and love, others discussing the aftermath.
Joseph was arrested on March 18 in Arkansas on charges of lewd and lascivious behavior, lewd and lascivious behavior of a victim under the age of 12 and lewd and lascivious behavior by a person over the age of 18.
The 14-year-old victim came forward to Arkansas police alleging that Joseph molested her when she was 9 years old while on vacation in Panama City Beach, Florida, in 2020. Four additional counts of endangering the welfare of a minor and four counts of second-degree false imprisonment were also charged against Joseph and his wife, Kendra Duggaron completely different charges in Arkansas.
After his release, Joseph was released from the Florida Bay County Jail on March 31 after posting $600,000 bail. He pleaded not guilty before the trial.

Anna Duggar Sent Joseph Duggar Multiple Emails With Practical Advice
Anna DuggarJoseph Duggar's older brother's wife, Josh Duggar (currently serving a 151-month prison sentence for receiving and possessing child pornography), sent Joseph several emails beginning on March 21.
“You have our prayers. We love you – however we can help, please let us know,” Anna wrote, in email records obtained by. Us. “I think I put money in your books. I don't remember how phone calls and video calls work.”
He added, “Just remember, don't talk about anything legal unless you have a lawyer. Everything said in these messages, phone calls and video chats is being recorded and turned over to prosecutors.”

Joy-Anna Duggarher husband, Austin Forsythsent Joseph Duggar a supportive email while he was in the Washington County Detention Center.
“I want you to know that I love you,” Austin wrote, in emails obtained by Us. “Jesus loves you, and He continues to draw you closer to Him.”

Joy-Anna broke her silence about her brother's arrest on March 26. “What happened to my brother is sad and very troubling,” she wrote on Instagram. “My heart goes out to the victim, and I am saddened by the pain and hurt caused.”
Michelle Duggar and Kendra Duggar reunited around Joseph Duggar
Kendra Duggar told Joseph Duggar during a recorded jailhouse call that her mother, Michelle Duggarit was a source of guidance.
“Your mother and I, we got to visit you this morning, and she was encouraging me to live a humble life,” Kendra said, according to People.
Through several phone calls from the cell, Kendra relayed the feelings of the extended family. “Just know that everyone loves you, even if they're disappointed,” she shared in a March 26 interview with TMZ.
