Days of Our Lives: Theo & Gabi's Explosive Romance – Mom's Bed Secret Changes Everything

Days of Our Lives followers. Right now, we have Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) who is upset and says he wants nothing to do with Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez). And that's because Theo thought they were friends. But Gabi then accuses Theo of Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) finding out about his corporate espionage. But all that could soon change.

We'll get into why Theo might change his tune about Gabi and they might get closer soon. Very close. Now, let's dive deeper into what could fix Theo and Gabi's broken friendship and add some spice to it.

Now, you may remember not too long ago, Philip got mad at Gabi after Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) confided in him that she hit on Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). CEO in the office at The Titan. And at that moment, Philip dumped Gabi in the middle of nowhere, angry at her for choosing greed over their relationship. But Philip did not tell him who was speaking.

So, Gabi thought that her friend Theo had criticized her. He had been crushing on Gabi for some time, but never once did he think of revealing his dirty secret to Philip. Instead, when Theo was in the hospital after the kidnapping incident, he was dreaming of kissing Gabi and staring at that cute little cactus. So, when she accused Theo of kicking her out, Gabi did it under the assumption that Theo did it to Philip to break them up because of his crush on her.

And when Gabi tells Theo that she read his journal, he's furious at her for peeking into his private thoughts. Theo saw that as a breach of trust and his feelings were hurt so much that Gabi suddenly thought she was going to destroy their friendship and kick him out. And even though Theo denied it, Gabi didn't give up. Theo could not convince Gabi of his innocence.

Also, Theo reminded Gabi that he was busy with his new mom, Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford). Meanwhile, Theo was always at the hospital with Lexie and Abe Carver (James Reynolds). So, Gabi and her business espionage weren't even on his radar. And recently, Philip revealed to Gabi that it was Anna DiMera (Leann Hunely) who told him the truth. But at that time the damage had already been done to Theo and Gabi's friendship. So, here we are and Theo is struggling now.

Days of Our Lives: Theo's Betrayal and Emotional Tragedy

Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) recently told Theo that Stefano DiMera is why Lexie got cancer and died in the first place. That's not really history Days of Our Lives he says, but that's what the writers are saying now, so that's what we have. Therefore, Theo is upset that even as an adult, Abe and the rest of the family kept that secret from him. Although it has been fifteen years since Lexie died from a brain tumor caused by poison DiMera tunnels, that knowledge is new to Theo and leaves him bewildered.

Also, this week, Lexie told Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) that she doesn't have long to live, but she doesn't want to tell Abe and Theo just yet. So, that's another heartbreak for Lexie's son. This week, Theo found out from Abe that he was conspiring with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) to get him out. CEO role in DiMera. And that came from Abe going to EJ, asking him to help get Theo out of the family business.

And that was before Theo and Abe knew about Lexie's impending resurrection. But EJ agreed because he wanted Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) in the match CEO a seat. Then Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) shows up to do the same thing after Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) chews out a new one.

It was to delete a voicemail Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) sent about her and her daughter being in a car accident. Alex called Stephanie out on her little jealousy. Even her mother, Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), thought Stephanie had gone too far. And her conspiracy theory about Joy crashing her car on purpose to get Alex's attention was insane.

When Stephanie pointed that out to Alex, she exploded because she knew Joy driving as a backup wasn't a good idea. But Alex was balancing worrying about her daughter's safety with running away from home to Stephanie because of all her problems. Therefore, Alex blames himself for the crash because he allowed Stephanie's anger and jealousy to take precedence over the child's safety. I wouldn't say that Alex is wrong in calling out Stephanie's actions. And Alex said it made a stressful situation worse.

Days of Our Lives: Stephanie's questionable choices

And mind you, none of this would have been so bad if Stephanie hadn't taken a double dose of sleeping pills when she had jet lag and then fired a gun at Joy. The gun Stephanie should have locked away in her gun safe. So, no, his hands are not clean on this. However, we all know that Joy is up to something.

So, it's dirty. And that's why he's there The Little Bar drinking. And then Theo seems so sneaky that Stephanie brings him home and lets him crash shirtless on her couch with Alex. Now, can you imagine if Stephanie came home and found Joy half dressed on the couch? But back to Theo. After drinking with Stephanie and venting, things take a turn for the worse for Theo.

Days of Our Lives: Lexie's Health Crisis and Theo's Rock Bottom

Because even though Lexie doesn't want Theo and Abe to know she's dying, she won't be able to hide it for long. We saw EJ shocked when he got home to find Lexie unconscious. And Rita told EJ that Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) was worried about the heat and just walked out because none of the serums were helping Lexie. And Rita reminded EJ that Wilhelm had warned them that Lexie would be unconscious for a long time until she passed away.

So, that means that Theo and Abe will quickly realize that Lexie is in bad shape because she's going to be out cold. So he concludes that he should be hospitalized soon. With Wilhelm gone, he'll need a real doctor to get him through the final stages of his second chance at life.

Days of Our Lives: Theo May Lean on Gabi

And when Theo is blindsided by all of this, he can turn to Gabi for support. He kept showing up to see Theo trying to apologize for his wrong assumption. He gave her a new journal, but he also beat her to pay his share of Stefano's inheritance.

And with Theo as crazy as Gabi, he'll still need a friend as he navigates his mother Lexie's second death. And after Alex finds Theo shirtless on his couch after getting drunk with Stephanie, I think Theo won't be welcome to hang out with Stephanie again because Alex will be upset by all of this. So, with no one else to talk to, Theo might turn to Gabi and forgive him for hurting him so he can cry.

Days of Our Lives: Sizzling Summer Romance Ahead?

Theo hadn't seen anyone romantically since the kind of dating Jada Hunter moment that happened so quickly. And Gabi is single as a pringle after Philip dumped her hard. And I doubt he will be taking Gabi. Jada is with Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) now though, so she won't be listening to Theo.

I think if Gabi and Theo meet, start as friends and then more, they can actually be a Days of Our Lives a great couple in the making. They could be Salem's hot new power couple by the end of the summer. But I think Theo and Gabi won't meet until Lexie is in the hospital again. And Theo is down and really needs a friend and Gabi steps up.
