Days of Our Lives SHOCKER: Clyde Weston Arrested in EJ's Toxic Drug Complex?

Days of Our Lives EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is stuck and can't get a lucky break with any of his schemes. Her sister Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) is sick again, and Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) doesn't know how to save her.
Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) makes him honey when EJ officially finds him. Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is the problem, and EJ's being investigated left and right, and now the shadow DiMera Enterprises Pharmaceuticals Coriseal problem. So now I'm wondering if Clyde Weston (James Read) may have set her up. We'll get into EJ and a possible plot involving the villainous Clyde.
Days of Our Lives: The Coriseal Crisis
Now, let's talk about it. So, EJ was recently told by his trusty and absolutely terrifying woman that when their pharmaceutical division produced that arsenic-contaminated batch, the head of the pharmaceutical division buried it. Smith Island. So all the bad pills come off the island, which is bad enough, especially with Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) getting sick while she's off there.
And on top of Lexie's problems, EJ will soon find out DiMera money was spent Titan Industries loan payment. Ironically, the loan was purchased by a large lender and loan buying firm called AR Capital. And with the idea that it's DiMera money, I wonder if Kristen got it The Titan's loan. IA could be Aramé, where Kristen's family is from and where her mother lives. And the R could be for Rachel, the name of Kristen's mother and daughter.
Days of Our Lives: EJ to Lose It All
So, things are going downhill for EJ on many fronts, personal and professional, and he just had to bring his CEO son Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) into the Coriseal crisis. I was surprised that EJ was actually open with his son. Like the really obvious thing. He actually told Johnny the fact that arsenic might be in the ground water outside Smith Island and that Holly may have been poisoned DiMera drugs buried there.
He was the only one who got sick on that trip. Arianna Hernandez (Vico Escorcia), Tate Black (Leo Howard), and others were drinking too much when Holly took dirty water from the faucet and it made her sick. So Tate and the others initially thought that Holly might have a stomach flu or that it was a side effect from her new anti-depressants. But Dr. Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) found Coriseal in Holly's blood and prescription anti-depressants.
Holly Saved from Days of Our Lives
Thankfully, Tate, Arianna, and the others rush Holly to the hospital for emergency treatment. Then he began to faint. Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Sarah were already looking DiMera Enterprises Pharmaceuticals because of her sisters Destiny and Clea who both died and took Coriseal.
Destiny went to the clinic with severe nausea and told Sarah that she had a headache and pain, the same symptoms that Holly is currently experiencing. But Sarah didn't check again because Destiny got so angry that she left the clinic. He actually ended up dead Horton Square on the way back to the hospital to see Sarah. And we had Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Sarah where they both try to help her. Javi Hernandez (Jacob Martinez) was seen trying to help. But sadly it was too late.
Days of Our Lives: Sarah Hunts for Answers
So, now Sarah has a chance to find out why her patient died and why Destiny's sister died too. And of course EJ knows that Sarah is involved as he overheard her and Brady talking about Coriseal once DiMera Enterprises Pharmaceuticals. So EJ will ask Johnny to check on Sarah's office later this week. Neither EJ nor Johnny want Holly to die. They want answers. But they also do cleaning work.
EJ told Johnny that someone else was holding the drug dump and he didn't follow through. It was the head of the chemistry department if I remember correctly. But it doesn't matter now Days of Our Lives. There are two people who have died that we know of and Holly could be the third. And someone is clearly doing a cover up.
Sarah asked Xander to take a peek DiMera Enterprises Pharmaceuticals files he could still access after the The Titan the meeting is over. But he noticed that all the files he needed to look at had disappeared. So, someone was erasing evidence in real time.
Back to EJ. He insisted to Johnny that even though the bad batch had been taken off the shelves, this was the first time EJ had learned about the dangerous disposal of opioids. And he admitted that he dropped the ball by not following through.
And this week, Brady goes to get a water sample from the Horton cabin and someone is watching from the nearby fences and it might be the man who dumped it to begin with or DiMera a man.

Days of Our Lives: The Clyde Connection
So, on Thursday, EJ finds out something is wrong Smith Island. So, he might go out there himself to play. EJ is interested in fixing this, not only because of the huge liability and possible criminal charges. But also because Holly who was his adopted daughter might be dying.
And I wonder if anyone knew that Xander was playing and paying off the Titan loan. They might do it to force him to stop wandering in Sarah's name. So, we'll see. But right now, I still feel that it might be Kristen behind AR Capital. We will find out. But again, many fans on social media of the soap seem to think that Clyde Weston was involved in the arsenic situation because he had a long history with dirty drugs.
Clyde ran a drug operation from Missouri to Salem. And again, he hates EJ and the Coriseal was destroyed before Clyde was shot and put into that coma. So, he might have messed up the offer to mess with EJ to get revenge. And at the same time, Clyde may have stolen the untainted Coriseal to sell through his drug ring.
Days of Our Lives: EJ and Clyde's connection
And remember years ago, EJ, played by James Scott, was involved in Clyde's illegal drug business. So Clyde had been involved in drug rings, and he was very angry with EJ. And then Clyde killed one of his followers. And of course, EJ is not so dead, as usual in DiMera.
So, it wasn't long before Clyde could have disrupted the first batch of Coriseal after EJ came back from the dead, but before Clyde was shot. That's the last we heard he was still unconscious, but maybe not, you know.
Days of Our Lives: Clyde Has the Answers People Want
Again Smith Island The soap opera has been on repeat for years. It is also a place that was used many times in shady dealings by Clyde once The DiMeras. Therefore, it is not a random choice of location. In addition, Chad DiMera (Connor Floyd) was hoping that Clyde would come out of his coma and tell them where the remains of Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) are. If he is really dead, we don't know. Lots of fan ideas on that, too. But Clyde may be out of his coma and lurking, and they just need to find him. I think that would be fun. Obviously, EJ would hate it.
And even if Clyde hasn't woken up from his slumber, time is running out for him to have a hand in corrupting Coriseal. Yes, he probably did that to make EJ dirty. Clyde didn't care how many people died if he contaminated the drug. And really, the more people die, the better because it would make it worse for EJ. That would really make Clyde happy because we know exactly how much he despises EJ. And of course, the feeling goes along. So, we'll see how it goes.
