Darrell Sheets Had Argument With Son Before Death, GF Claims

Darrell Spreadsheets' the girlfriend remembers that she had an argument with her son, Brandon, before he died by suicide.

According to the police report obtained by Us Weekly On Wednesday, July 8, Sheets' girlfriend, withheld from the papers, had been dating Storage Wars star since February 14, 2026. The girlfriend said that Spreadsheets was “having problems.”

Us previously discovered that Spreadsheets had been a victim of cyberbullying, a topic he wrote about personally in his apparently suicidal book that was also revealed in a new police report. “I can't take it anymore, being bullied on Facebook,” she wrote in the paper, adding, “F*** you, [redacted.]”

One month before his death, Sheets criticized cyberbullies on his social media profile.

“I was hacked by the worst person,” he wrote on Facebook in March. “A nurse. [The posts] they are not done by me, they are done by … very bad people. I'm not gay, I didn't write about the owner of a children's arcade, etc. I'm so sorry and I'm sick of this.”

The Lake Havasu City Police Department previously reported Us that it was “aware of allegations of cyberbullying” regarding Spreadsheet's death and that “the allegations are part of an ongoing investigation.”

Despite Spreadsheets receiving hate online, his girlfriend said he had been “good” overall. She told police that Spreadsheets “never mentioned self-harm to her.”

Before the reality star's death, Sheets' girlfriend said Brandon “just visited” his dad “for a few days.” She alleges that the son and son “got into a verbal argument about family drama” and that Brandon “told” Sheets “a new ass” when they threw a tantrum.

The girlfriend also said that Brandon and his wife do not love her and it is suspected that they made those feelings known to the Spreadsheets. He blamed Sheets' daughter-in-law for sending him a text message calling him “bad” and how they found him “suspicious”.

At one point, the girlfriend left because Brandon allegedly yelled at Spreadsheets. The girlfriend said Sheets “didn't want to be alone” with Brandon and his wife.

Brandon and his wife reportedly left on April 19, three days before Sheets' death. Sheets was “devastated” and “sad as hell” after Brandon left, according to his girlfriend.

Us reached out to Brandon for comment.

Spreadsheets are best known for appearing in A&E Storage Wars from 2010 to 2023, where he is known as “The Gambler.” A spokesperson for the Lake Havasu Police Department confirmed this Us that Sheets died in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, on April 22. He was 62 years old.

“We are saddened by the passing of a beloved member of our Storage Wars family, Darrell 'The Gambler' Sheets,” a spokesperson told A&E. Us at that time. “Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones at this difficult time.”

Sheets' death was later ruled a suicide, and his toxicology analysis came back negative for drugs, according to the autopsy report.

According to police records, Sheets left an apparent suicide note stating that he would no longer be “bullied on Facebook.”
