Christine Quinn's Single Husband Wants Control of LA Home

Christine Quinnwhose husband, Christian Dumontetwants sole ownership of their once-combined house in Los Angeles.

Dumontet, 47, filed papers in court on Friday, April 17, and was found by Us Weekly, you are asking for control of the property to sell it and pay the mortgage.

According to Dumontet, he wants to sell the house to “stop the ongoing financial losses associated with keeping non-profit assets.”

Dumontet said he bought the residence months before he married Quinn, 37, in 2019, and now has $3.5 million left on his mortgage. He said the house costs $400,00 a year to maintain.

“This is unsustainable,” Dumontet wrote in his file. “I need the court to intervene immediately to stop this financial corruption.”

Dumontet and Quinn, who share a 4-year-old son Christian, split in 2024. Dumontet was ordered to leave the house afterwards Selling Sunset alum was granted a temporary restraining order in March 2024 after two Dumontet arrests. In Dumontet's April court papers, he said he was unable to “restore the ability to act respectfully” in the house until September 2025. Once he was returned to his home, Dumontet began fixing up, renovating and preparing the house for sale for what is said to be thousands of dollars.

Dumontet, who said he has moved to France with his new girlfriend as well their 12-month-old sonnow he wants to sell the house to use the funds to pay off his reported debt.

In the filing, Dumontet emphasized that neither he nor Quinn lives in the house and it does not generate income.

“[Quinn] has never made a financial contribution to [home]whether it's the purchase price, mortgage payments, management costs, maintenance, or otherwise,” the filing reads, where Dumontet is accused of paying “exorbitant costs to maintain” the home that caused him “irreparable financial harm.”

Dumontet said Quinn is “not on the hook” for any debt the house collects.

“I am the only one facing this injury, and without the intervention of the court, I will continue,” he added.

Dumontet's request for an emergency order was denied while the house returned to the market on Saturday, April 18, for nearly $7.5 million.

Us Weekly reached out to Quinn for comment.

During her divorce, Quinn moved to Texas with her son.

“I'm really grateful to be here,” the reality TV star said he told People January 2025. “[It’s a blessing to] get close to my family. I have a sister who lives next to me, and my son has a cousin.”

He added, “I got a really nice house. I would say, it's 60 percent done, but there are still some things I want to do and take it to the next level because I love interior design.”
