Bunny Xo is making history after rumors spread that he has started dating Chad Kroeger.
Speaking on the Thursday, June 18, episode of her “Dumb Blonde” podcast, Bunnie, 46, dismissed the romance speculation that has surfaced after news broke that she and Jelly Roll41, they were separated.
Bunnie explained that she hadn't posted anything new on social media for a while while she was in her recovery period but shared a throwback clip featuring the Nickelback singer.
“News is dropping, I've got f**king Nickelback on my page,” Bunnie said. He mentioned that he did not know when the news of the breakup would be revealed and insisted that it was just a case of mismanagement of time.
Bunnie said the video was filmed at one of Jelly Roll's shows in Las Vegas in 2025 and explained that he nicknamed Kroeger “Daddy Chaddy” “as a joke.”
“I don't live with my dad Chaddy. There's no way in hell that would happen. And no, I didn't cheat on my husband and leave him for Chad, and so, none of this. Please,” she said.

“This is so wrong. I'm not dating Chad Kroger. I'm so sorry to Chad and Nickelback for what's going on. It's a shame,” he said.
Bunnie added, “God, it's so cool that the internet can just run with a story and people just run with it.”
He concluded by saying, “So there is no Chad and Bunnie Xo.”
After the episode dropped, Jelly Roll took the stage at the Saratoga Springs, New York leg of his tour to make sure there was no dishonesty on Bunnie's part.
“Nobody fooled anybody. He just made a podcast about it all. You can watch it. Every word of it is true,” he told the crowd, describing the internet as “a lie.”

Earlier this week, Us Weekly confirmed that Jelly Roll filed for divorce from Bunnie in May.
According to court documents obtained by UsThe country singer cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split, adding that “the parties can no longer live together successfully as Husband and Wife”.
Jelly Roll and Bunnie tied the knot in August 2016. While Bunnie revealed in 2024 that she received treatment, the two did not welcome children together. Jelly Roll is a father of two children. The Grammy nominee shares daughter Bailey with ex-girlfriend Felicia Beckwith and son Noah Buddy, 9, and ex Melisa Ann Cowell. (During their marriage, Jelly Roll and Bunnie had primary custody of Bailey when she was a child.)
