Britney Spears' The last post before entering rehab showed her dancing in a body suit.
Spears, 44, took to Instagram on Sunday, April 12, to show off her dancing Cardi B, J Balvin again Bad rabbit's “I Like It” while wearing an all-black bodysuit, red hat and black knee-high boots. At certain points in the video, Spears slapped her butt while gesturing with her back.
A lawyer for Spears later confirmed that Us Weekly that the singer voluntarily checked himself into a treatment center.
Spears was recently arrested for DUI in March, with a 911 call saying she was driving “off the rails” and speeding. The caller noted that Spears' car was “unusual.”[ly] braking, swerving and driving without a tail light.” He was released from the newly booked cell.
“This was an unfortunate and unprovoked incident,” said a spokesperson for Spears Us in a statement after his release. “Britney will take the appropriate action and comply with the law, and I hope this is the first step in a long overdue change in Britney's life. I hope she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time.”
The spokesman continued: “His loved ones will come up with an overdue plan, which is needed to make him successful so that he can be well-being.”
Spears, who shares sons Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden, 19, with ex-husband Kevin Federlinehe spent time with his children after his arrest. His DUI is one of many problems he has faced in the public eye. Spears was previously placed under the Conservatory, which was officially discontinued in 2021.
“The main reason why I am here is because I want to finish the conservation work without inspection,” he said during the proceedings in court at the time. “I want my life back. It's been 13 years, and enough is enough.”
After her employment ended, Spears married her boyfriend of six years, Sam Asghari, but they separated in August 2023 after 13 months of marriage.

“After 6 years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together,” Asghari, 32, wrote in an Instagram Story statement at the time. “We will hold on to the love and respect we have for each other and I wish him all the best.”
Spears later moved on with him Paul Richard Soliz, who was present when she was allegedly escorted out of the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles in May 2024. Photos emerged as Spears left the hotel alongside Soliz wrapped in a blanket. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed at the time that the police had not been called.
