Body of Fitness Influencer Found Burned on Side of Road: Report

Honduran activist Freddy Rodríguez he was reported dead and his body was found on the side of a remote road in Danlí, Honduras. He was 34 years old.
Authorities found Rodríguez's body on April 26, according to reports from local stores El Heraldo again Note. The body reportedly showed signs of being burned, but investigators believe the victim was killed before being burned, and the brush around the area where he was found appeared to have been burned.
The public prosecutor's office was unable to confirm that the body was Rodríguez's until Friday, May 1, due to the severity of the burn, according to reports.
The investigation into Rodríguez's death is ongoing, but no suspects have been identified or arrested at press time, the outlet said.
Rodríguez, known as “Rosado” to friends and family, has built a following of more than 1,000 users on TikTok, where he shares fitness content and inspirational messages.
Fans paid tribute to Rodríguez via social media after his death.
“Oh, young man, may strength be with the family and may Freddy rest in peace,” one user wrote in a report of the promoter's death, while another person added, “I knew him since he was a child; he was kind and decent. His death has hurt me deeply.”
“Peace to his soul 🕊️🙏🏽 Strength to his family 🙏🏽,” said a third fan.
Rodríguez is one of many activists who have tragically died this year. On April 27, the promoter of India Nagalakshmi with her husband, Subramaniboth were found dead in their home after suspected suicide. They were 41 and 51 respectively.
Local outlets The Hindu and Times of India reported that the son of Nagalakshmi and Subramani, 18, returned to their home in Nanganallur, India, to find his mother stabbed to death and his father dead in another room. Authorities reportedly believe Subramani killed his wife and then took his own life. It is reported that they are also investigating the possibility of a third person, as the door of the house was open when their son arrived.
Nagalakshmi was known for promoting her online sari business through social media.
Earlier last month, a Finnish hiking promoter Ali Leiniö he was found dead in the wilderness of Lapland, according to a Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat. Leiniö, who had more than 88,000 followers on YouTube, reportedly died of a seizure.
Fitness promoter Mara FláviaBrazilian promoter Carlos Filhar and a Japanese promoter Donate he also died in April. Dominika “Mina” Elischerova, Wang Weiqian again Aysegul Eraslan died in March.
