Big Brother's Levi Banks Explains Why He Left

As Big Brother 28 which began on Thursday, July 9, Levi was nowhere to be seen during the show's run – despite appearing on a leaked cast list. He was also not included in CBS' official list of 14 new guests that was released earlier this week.
To explain his absence, Levi shared a post on Instagram on Thursday.
“What's going on, Big Brother fans? My name is Levi Banks and I just wanted to give you a quick update and let you know that I am doing well,” he said in an Instagram video.
Levi continued: “I was ready and willing to move to Big Brother house this season and as we got closer and closer to the day of departure I realized that this was not the right fit for me personally.”
Insisting that it was his decision to leave rather than being decided by the powers that be Big BrotherLevi said it was not a call he made lightly.
“I wanted to let you know that that was the hardest decision of my entire life,” Levi added.
Levi continued, “I'm back home in North Carolina right now. And I'm on good terms with CBS, Big Brotherand everybody, and I just wanted to let you know and you all know that I am, so, I'm very grateful for this opportunity. It's been a huge life changer.”
Although he will no longer be in the middle of the field Big Brother House, Levi said he will still follow the season as a fan.
“I'm very happy to watch this show tonight,” he said. “Oh my god, I'm stumped! It's going to be a slightly different POV than when I'm in the house as I'm on my couch, so I'll take one thing at a time. But I want to thank you all so much for your support. I appreciate you all, and let's go Yash!”
The mention of Yash seems to be your clue Yash Patelwho was rumored to be replacing Levi after he left.
In the first announcement, 14 new players were introduced. Among the new faces are an MMA fighter, a game show host, a drag queen who previously appeared on Drag Race and more. A survivor fan favorite, Rick Devensit has been confirmed that he has joined the cast of season 28.
Big Brother 28 kicks off with a 90-minute premiere on CBS and Paramount+ on Thursday night.
“This new group of Houseguests enters a summer where nothing is as it seems, where every twist rewrites the rules, and when time becomes a turning point,” CBS teased about the new season in a press release.
