Below Deck Mediterranean's Joe Bradley he talks about misconceptions – especially when it comes to his view of women.
“I've hurt people in the past and it hurts me a lot. I may not show it, but it hurts me,” Joe said to himself. Us Weekly. “I don't want to hear people say that I don't respect women and I hate women, the best people in my life are my mother, grandmother and my little sister.”
After returning to the show in season 11, Joe has seen a turn of the tide.
“I noticed a few DMs where people said they saw some change in me,” he added. “I hope I can continue that and it's a bit refreshing. Because I'm used to negative comments and I laugh and play about it. But actually to get a positive response, I really like it.”
He continued: “I'm trying to get better every day. I know my mistakes and I want to get better. I made mistakes in the past. I'm young. I have no excuses for what I did and it's still one of the biggest regrets I've made, not only in the program, but in life itself. I have time to learn, adapt and be able to be a lot better.”
As Below Deck Med viewers know well, Joe was caught in a love triangle in season 9 with Elena Dubich again Brian Muller. He later found himself in trouble in season 10 due to his connection with both of them Kizzi Kitchener again Victoria SanJuanand this leads to Nathan Gallagher severing ties with Joe because of the way he handled the situation.

“You will see the growth rate [this season] because I heard. You will see that I am comfortable in my own skin on board. Don't get me wrong, I can be loud,” he said earlier Us. “That's where Nathan is [and I differ]. I can actually be social, but I have a good time and do my job well. You're going to see the growth and you're going to see the rate of change because I'm fed up with all of this [love] triangles now.”
Joe clarified that he had “learned” the lesson, revealing that he was concentrating on his duties as lead deckhand.
“I hope you will see it this season, my work is the one that I have to prioritize. [biggest] the regret right now was the situation with Victoria, I could have handled that very differently. I couldn't handle that in a mature way.” “I was just loud. Obviously, we haven't contacted them yet. But if I could sit down with him today, I would apologize. If he allows me one day to see myself everywhere and say I'm sorry for what I've done, I'll do that.”
Looking ahead, Joe was determined to prove his critics wrong.
“I understand it's not a comfortable position—even just being a spectator. Looking back, I've learned from the situation. I'm very focused [on] my job right now,” he concluded, “I despise it [in my romantic life on board] just being one person. I don't need to be greedy anymore. I've had mine and I'm ready to do the work.”
