Zombies are the least of Alice's problems Resident Evil: Restoration. Most franchises that reach five movies start to run out of ideas, but if Retaliation it had one problem when it was released in 2012, that it had too many.

Resident Evil: Restoration starts as a type of Resident Evil's the biggest hits with Alice (Milla Jovovich) who rose again in the groups of the Umbrella organization. The film quickly establishes a series of confusing and confusing reasons for him to reenact some of his greatest zombie battles from previous entries in the franchise and then proceeds to pit him against not only his gallery of arch-enemies but also his staunchest friends.

None of this makes any sense, and if you haven't seen the previous five films, it will make even less sense. Don't bother trying unless you're really serious Resident Evil a follower.

Of course, the Resident Evil franchise has never been all about developing complex plot details, and that's always been part of the fun. However they may have gone too far in this; it was here that the franchise reached a point where it's not only impossible to figure out what's going on, but at some point, you don't care.

You know where this is going, why it is going there, and what it will take to get there is not important. Action scenes play out in super slow motion and seem to drag on forever. Even the most boring scene plays at half speed as if they need to scroll through the movie's runtime.

Even if your reasons don't make sense, it's the best part Retaliation it's the return of the main supporting cast of the franchise. Especially, at that time, it was nice to see Michelle Rodriguez back on the screen. We haven't seen his villainous character since he was killed off in the first film in 2002. He owns every second he gives. Resident Evil: Restorationbut there is still very little about him. Everything gets better with more Rodriguez.

I Resident Evil movies have always been a little guilty pleasure, a special-effects-filled journey through a post-apocalyptic, zombie-infested world ruled by an evil corporate empire. But there is less joy than usual in this; it never came together as anything other than a bunch of random ideas that someone threw out in the hope that at least one of them might work well enough to make fans happy with it. None of them do, and whether they follow you or not, you probably won't be happy if you watch it Resident Evil 5.

After the giddy, resounding success of the fourth film, Resident Evil: Restoration it was a great depression. It's a flat and lifeless action movie that feels like it's happening too much.

If you're a complete Resident Evil fan, you'll probably still want to see it Retaliation. After all, it has Ada Wong in it. When you're ready to watch, Resident Evil: Restoration available for streaming.

Despite its poor reception, Resident Evil: Restoration he didn't kill the franchise. They managed another entry, released in 2017, before the full Resident Evil reboot.
