Hulu sure loves Gen Z. After last summer's little hit AdultsThe broadcaster is now presenting another sitcom about appropriately diverse friends who work, live and love each other in New York City. This one is called Not Worth the Joband although we've seen many of its characters and storylines before, it has a freshness and lightness to it that makes it look, if not all, memorable.

Not Worth the Job focuses on best friends AJ (Ela Hunt) and Abby (Avantika), who live in the same building as Josh (Jack Martin), Kel (Nicholas Duvernay) and Davis (Will Angus). AJ and David work together, but the others work in very different professions such as medicine and fashion. They all have one thing in common: they absorb love. They have to depend on each other, however, and, in the case of Davis and AJ, to keep going. Do I get a Ross and Rachel romance in the future? Let's hope Not Worth the Job it's a big enough hit that writers can develop will-they-or-won't-they romances that they might attract.

Not Worth the Job is streaming on Hulu.
