3 Best Video Movies to Watch This Weekend (April 24-26)

If I had to pick just one streamer to keep, it would probably be Amazon Prime Video.
The Bezos-backed platform keeps adding tons of new movies I want to watch — even guilty pleasure ones.
Watch With Us has selected a short list of the best new movies on Prime Video that you should check out.
In my opinion, you can't go wrong with streaming The Conjuring: Last Rites, I regret it or Space balls as you relax this April weekend.
'The Conjuring: Last Rites' (2025)
Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson again Vera Farmiga) have had it in taming poltergeists and chasing humanoid dolls. They want to retire, but one disturbing case prevents them from drinking Mai-Tais on the beach. It involves their daughter, Judy (Mia Tomlinson), who sees the mental visions of the Smurl family being terrorized by three evil ghosts. It's a family affair as Ed, Lorraine and Judy help the Smurls banish these demons from their home, but will they all be alive when the case is over?
Charged last time Integration movie, Last Customs was a huge hit last year, bringing in nearly half a billion at the box office. While it's not as good as the original, it's better than most entries in the franchise, with enough jump scares and creepy visuals to get under your skin. As reliably good as the Warrens, Wilson and Farmiga are, they convincingly sell the hocus-pocus hokum they're given this time. Their love and devotion to each other is so convincing that it will make you go to Hinge to find your Ed or Lorraine. (I checked; they are not there!)
The ending is surprisingly touching, with some great hits from the past Integration pictures. It's an emotional send-off that's spoiled by the fact that WB has already announced plans to make another movie in the franchise. The only thing scarier than a Midwestern ghost is a Hollywood producer with a profit to make.

'Colleen Hoover Regrets It' (2025)
Mckenna Grace and Mason Thames with remorse
ImportantWhen Morgan (Allison Williamshusband, Chris (Scott Eastwood), and younger sister, Jenny (Willa Fitzgerald), dies in a car accident, and is left to pick up the pieces of his broken life. Helping him is his 16-year-old daughter, Clara (McKenna Grace), and Jenny's miserable boyfriend, Jonah (Dave Franco), but soon her tears turned to anger as she slowly found out that Chris and Jenny had been dating for years. To make matters worse, Chris may be the biological father of Jenny and Jonah's newborn son, Elijah.
That's the middle subplot I regret ita faithful adaptation of a completely bonkers novel from the white-hot Hoover. There is also a flashback to an unwanted teenage pregnancy and a modern-day love triangle involving Clara and popular boy Miller (Mason Thames), but the main attraction is undoubtedly the revelation that Chris and Jenny were an illicit couple. It's interesting stuff, but I'll give it a go I regret it some credit – it's not boring! The movie features a lot of beautiful people who love each other, and they seem to cry in really beautiful places. It's shameless and unnecessarily complicated, but it's very effective as throwaway entertainment.

'Spacells' (1987)
Evil President Skroob (Mel Brooks) wants to steal the planet Druidia's air, but the only way to do so is to obtain the code to its well-guarded air shield. Skroob attempts to kidnap the corrupted Druid princess, Vespa (Daphne Zuniga), but lost to Lone Starr (Bill Pullman) and his sidekick, Barf (John Candy), who rescued him and the robot he was traveling with, Dot Matrix (Joan Rivers). With Skroob's army in pursuit, the four renegades find sanctuary in Yogurt's (and Brooks') clever hideout. Can the Lone Starr bring Vespa back to her home world in one piece – and without falling in love with her?
Even typing Space balls' The plot synopsis makes me giggle. Immature and stupid on purpose, it will make you feel like a kid again, make distant noises with your friends. Writer-director Brooks throws in all kinds of comedy, from the obvious (Pizza the Hut) to the inspired (an alien parody that turns into a musical number at a restaurant). It works a lot, and the characters, especially Candy and Rick Moranis as the neurotic warlord Dark Helmet, he's excellent and perfectly in tune with Brooks' humor. Next, Spaceballs: Newit's scheduled for release in 2027, so spend 2026 with the original to see what all the fuss is about. May Schwartz be with you!
