Sophie Cunningham knows how to get angry left and right with simple social media posts

This puts New York at the forefront of the data center debate
New York Governor Kathy Hochul is halting development of a new data center, prompting criticism from former President Donald Trump and Senator John Fetterman. Trump sees the decision as 'bad' for New York's economy and job growth. The suspension also raises concerns about possible Chinese influence and highlights ongoing energy supply issues, as reported by Fox Business Correspondent Madison Alworth.
Sophie Cunningham has done something more amazing than anything she has ever done on the basketball court.
The Indiana Fever star managed to upset both lefties again right with one social media post.
That's right.

It's almost impossible to do today given how polarizing the whole issue is. We are all black and white in 2026. You are on the left, or you are on the right. There is no in between. There is no middle ground. No phone calls.
So, if you can infuriate both sides with one simple question, you know you've found the sweet spot.
And that's exactly what Sophie Cunningham did on Thursday evening when she went to X and just asked, “so how can we save our farmland and stop all these dumb data centers?”
Chaos:
Sophie Cunningham asks an innocent question and is bombarded
Boom! That's all. That's it the post that had everyone on Elon's app buzzing yesterday. It's so simple, yet so divisive.
That single tweet has over 8 million views, over 4,000 retweets and an incredible 6,000 comments. It's easy, Sophie Cunningham's most dangerous post — which is saying something since she's the WNBA's starting big next to Caitlin Clark.

Also, the interesting thing is how it has pissed off liberals AND Conservatives alike, which shows how dumb this whole AI era really is. God, we are stupid.
Let's examine another reaction:
Do you see? The answers are everywhere, and everywhere. “Project Liberal” is angry with him. He is angry with Stephen Miller. He resents the common people.
And none of them really mean it why they are crazy, because, in truth, no one can really define a data center. I myself am included, by the way.
Data centers are like the “cloud” for iPhones. Can anyone here explain exactly where something goes on your phone when it's sent to iCloud? No. That's not the case. No one knows what that is, but we still use it.

That's what data centers are right now. Are they that bad for us? Do they really take the place? Are they spying on us? Are they destroying our water? I have no clue. Nothing. Zero.
Sophie Cunningham seems to think they build them on our big farms. Again, I have no idea if that is true. It probably is, to some extent.
Anyway, Sophie has the internet buzzing right now, and it's all because of one simple post that really tapped into the divide that exists between rural America, the influence of Big Tech, government funding, and environmental priorities.
And that, folks, is how it keeps America on our toes during the dog days of summer.
Well done, Sophie.
PS: Some people have commented that the way to save farms is to eliminate golf courses.
I do not think so. Not on my watch. That will start the second Civil War.
