Authorities are renewing their appeal for information on the 14-year disappearance of Laureen Rahn, 14, who disappeared from her home in New Hampshire in April 1980.
Attorney General John M. Formella, Col. Mark B. Hall of the New Hampshire State Police and Manchester Police Chief Peter A. Marr said Monday that investigators are following new leads in the case, which remains unsolved 46 years later.
An enhanced photo of Laureen, provided by the FBI's Boston Division, was also released alongside the complaint showing what she might look like today.
Laureen was last seen on April 27, 1980, at her home on Merrimack Street in Manchester, New Hampshire. Investigators say she left all of her belongings behind – including clothes and money – and there were no signs of a struggle inside the apartment.

According to the New Hampshire State Police, on Sunday, April 27, 1980, at 3:45 in the morning, Manchester Police responded to reports of a missing youth.
Laurence's mother told authorities that she had been out of town with a friend and that Laureen had asked to stay at home in Manchester. His mother also said that when she came home around 1:15 in the morning, she saw the back door of their house open, and the front door was not secured.
When he checked the apartment, he found Laureen's friend lying on Laureen's bed, and that Laureen was not there.

Laureen's friend told police that she and Laurenen had been drinking and Laureen was in bed but left the room, taking a pillow and blanket to sleep on the couch. It is possible that Laureen left the apartment voluntarily with the intention of returning for a while, as she did not take any clothes, money or personal belongings with her, said the police.
Laurent has not been seen or heard from since.
