Lindsie Chrisley Quits Podcast Tour After DUI Arrest

Lindsey Chrisley will no longer join his podcast producer, Kailyn Lowryon his journey of Fatherless Conduct.

Lowry, 34, confirmed on the Thursday, June 4, episode of their podcast “Coffee Convos” that Chrisley, 36, has left the tour and will no longer be accompanying The New Mother alum at his shows in Charleston, Charlotte and Durham, North Carolina, in July.

“Know in advance that Lindsie will not be joining me on any of the tour dates for anyone who may have purchased tickets for me and Lindsie together,” Lowry told the audience. “I don't want you to be surprised, and I understand if you want a refund on those tickets.”

Lowry has been hosting “Coffee Convos” on his own since Chrisley's May 23 DUI arrest. On Thursday's episode, the reality TV personality confirmed that she's seen fans asking questions about Chrisley's legal status, but she's not in a position to discuss it.

“I see the bad ones, I see the good ones, I see those who are willing to ride with us on this,” he said. “I see them, and I want you to know that you are not seen from the waist. I do not try to avoid your questions, I do not try to ignore, I do not sweep things under the microphone. There are certain things when it comes to the law, I cannot discuss them, no matter how much I want to, and that is what the PR team is for, because I cannot speak for lawyers. I do not want to. So I wanted to make that clear.”

Chrisley was arrested in Georgia on May 23 for DUI, attempting to elude police, improper passing, reckless driving and speeding. (In Georgia, DUI is partially protected, meaning that a person can be charged with driving under the influence even if their blood alcohol concentration is less than 0.08 percent.)

The Cherokee County Jail confirmed this Chrisley Knows Best alum was released after posting bond on May 24. His bail was set at $1,355 for DUI less safe, $680 for improper passing, $565 for reckless driving and $2,006 for speeding.

In the police report received by Us Weeklyan officer at the scene said Chrisley was “running, trailing and blinking [her] the night he was arrested.” It is alleged that he was driving at approximately 90 kilometers per hour and was “fleeing” from authorities before stopping on the side of the road.” The officer suspected that Chrisley's breath smelled like alcohol and he was speaking slurred.

Chrisley said TMZ after being arrested that he planned to “fight crime.”

“I overturned at high speed and passed a car on a two-lane road because it almost hit an animal and I tried to miss hitting them and whatever the animal was,” he said in a statement.

On Monday, June 1, Chrisley's attorney filed a motion to suppress all evidence taken during his DUI arrest last month, Us exclusively reports. His lawyer said in the papers that Chrisley “expects that.” [prosecutors] … he shall try to present … evidence of property obtained or taken illegally.”

“All property or evidence taken from it [Chrisley] this was done illegally due to the lack of a reason to take the items,” said the court documents.

Todd Hayes, Solicitor-General of Cherokee County, said Us he replied, “My office is in the process of reviewing the evidence in the case to make the appropriate charging decisions. No such decisions have been finalized at this time.”
