Ex Penn State Football Player's Boyfriend Dies in Hit-and-Run

The longtime former Penn State football player Kyle Vasey hospitalized with his fiancee, Corinne Morehe was killed in a hit and run accident in Colorado.
“Kyle was the victim of a terrible accident while he was out with his fiancée,” Kyle's parents, Bruce again Shellyshared on a GoFundMe created during their son's road to recovery. “The truck carelessly left the road and drove off, traveling at a speed of about 45 mph. The driver turned around to look at the damage he had done, then cowardly fled the scene.”
The former Penn State player endured “multiple fractures” throughout his body, according to the GoFundMe.
Driver, 28 years old Adam Bausermanhe ended up in jail after the crash, which happened on June 3. Bauserman was driving with a suspended license for a previous DUI when he hit three pedestrians who were walking on the side of the road.
More, 35, did not survive, while Kyle was seriously injured. Dianne Windes72, was the third victim. He was reportedly walking on the opposite side of the couple and was taken to hospital with serious injuries, according to CBS News.
Deputies saw no signs of intoxication, but are awaiting the results of Bauserman's blood test to confirm. At the time of the crash, Bauserman is believed to have been driving approximately 48 miles per hour.
When authorities searched for him, CBS News reported that Bauserman asked the officers, “You know I killed this man?”

“His left arm is the only limb that is not injured,” explained the collector. “He has broken his spine 3 times and broken his ribs 4 times. So far he has had six surgeries. He is currently on a ventilator and is sedated to help manage the pain while his body heals. Thankfully there was no major head trauma, and everyone is hopeful that he will recover. However, it is expected to be a long road to recovery.”
Witnesses alleged that Bauserman aimed his car at the three pedestrians, Douglas County Sheriff. Darren Weekly “This was a horrific incident,” Weekly told CBS.
“If we can prove that, we will do that, but at the moment we have no indication of that,” he said.
The GoFundMe has raised more than $24,000 at the time this story was published.
“In the meantime, we ask for your thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery for his body, heart, and mind,” Kyle's parents wrote. “However, any donations to help with his mounting debts would be greatly appreciated.”
Kyle played at Penn State from 2018 to 2019. He agreed to sign with the NFL's Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent after graduation, but did not see professional action.
In recent years, Kyle has been working as a real estate agent in Denver.
