New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani has cemented his position as political kingpin after all the Democratic Socialist candidates he supported won their primary races.

Massive chaos erupted in New York City Tuesday night as Mamdani supporters Brad Lander and Darializa Avila Chevalier defeated Reps. Dan Goldman, DN.Y., and Adriano Espaillat, DN.Y., respectively.

And in the open 7th district, Democratic Socialist Claire Valdez won despite the outgoing Rep. Nydia Velázquez, DN.Y., endorsing another candidate.

The victory of the candidates supported by Mamdani raised questions about where the Democratic Party is heading and whether the influence of the party's establishment is diminishing.

MAMDANI PRAISES HAKEEM JEFFRIES PRIMARY CHALLENGE, TELLS CITY COUNCIL MEMBER TO 'FOCUS' ON NYC.

Rep. Mike Lawler, RN.Y., alleged that House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, DN.Y., cut a deal with Zohran Mamdani to ensure New York City Council member Chi Ossé did not oppose him, saying Jeffries feared he would lose if Ossé entered the race.

“Tonight”s The results in New York City prove one thing, @RepJeffries cut a deal with @ZohranKMamdani to save himself and throw everyone under the bus,” Lawler wrote on X, saying Ossé would take over from Jeffries.

“The Democrat party has officially become the party of Zohran, the AOC and Bernie,” Lawler continued.

Bad Hombre, a conservative social media account on X, said the Democratic Party now belongs to Mamdani and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., pointing to left-wing photos and in New Jersey and Pennsylvania primary races.

“If you're John Fetterman, switching to the GOP has never looked better,” Bad Hombre wrote. If you're Chuck Schumer, you're writing your retirement speech and learning how to grill a burger. The AOC is coming to this Senate seat.

Jeremy Carl, executive director of the Claremont Institute, said the results reflect a broader shift in opinion and demographics in New York City, warning that the city has become a “post-American city” and predicting similar changes across the country.

REPUBLICANS ARE USING MAMDANI UNLIKELY AS A LEADER TO BEAT DEMOCRATS IN DANGER

“The radicalism of these Congressmen will be a headache for the Democratic leadership in the House and a gift to the GOP,” Carl wrote.

“The future of the Democratic Party is strong and post-American in its orientation (sic). Since all these candidates are in the capital of world news, they will receive a lot of attention,” continued Carl. “That's not going to play well for the Dems in 2026 and 2028.”

Jason Rantz said Mamdani's win on Tuesday could work for Republicans as they work to draw the Democratic Socialists as a new form of the Democratic Party.

“It's clear that Republicans are going to take advantage of this, and it's going to hurt Democrats across the country,” Rantz said on CNN. “You can win in New York, you can win in Seattle, you can win in Portland, Los Angeles. But that's where you're going to win.

“And if we can explain the Democrats try to escape this label of being socialist, being open borders, being, you know, pro-crime or anti-Israel, if that is the goal of the Democratic Party to run on that. Of course, you can no longer do that,” said Rantz.
