Brock Lesnar returns to WWE Raw one month after his retirement

NEWNow you can listen to Fox News articles!

Brock Lesnar made his shocking return to WWE on “Monday Night Raw,” one month after appearing to retire following his loss to Oba Femi.

Femi was about to host his weekly open challenge to any competitor on Raw. As he entered the ring, Lesnar attacked him from behind and sent the crowd in Greensboro, North Carolina, protesting.

Lesnar hit four F-5s on Femi, catching “The Ruler” off guard. Lesnar smiled while Femi suffered from the pain of multiple eliminations.

It seemed that Lesnar had actually retired after losing at WrestleMania 42. Paul Heyman was even convinced that Lesnar was done with pro wrestling as he was seen crying in the ring when the two hugged.

“Oh, did I forget to mention that BRRRRRRRRRROCK LESNAR decided to do something about Oba Femi?” he wrote to X later that night. “I'm sorry. I must have slipped my mind!”

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T weighed in on Lesnar's possible retirement in an interview with Fox News Digital last month.

“You know wrestling, we've never really retired,” he said. “It's always in our heads that we can go out and have one more game. Another thing about this business, man, it's hard to leave money on the table.”

“So, if somebody comes to Brock Lesnar with the right number for one more match, I'm sure Brock Lesnar can absorb it for five minutes and go out there and do it. I can absorb it for five minutes and go out and do it.”

Heyman offered a contract to Raw GM Adam Pearce for a rematch between Lesnar and Femi at Clash in Italy. He said Lesnar's name was already on the contract and Pearce only needed Femi's signature.

“Tribal Combat” is coming to Clash in Italy

“Monday Night Raw” ended the same way – either Roman Reigns or Jacob Fatu called each other out and one man knocked the other down to end the show. This time, it went differently.

Fatu started the night going to the ring while Adam Pearce tried to convince Reigns that it was time to fire Fatu following his actions last week. But the original plan went out the window. Jey and Jimmy Uso came out from behind Fatu to confront him.

Jimmy Uso tried to calm Fatu down, but Jey Uso was having none of it. He entered the ring with a chair. It looked like Fatu would be able to take out The Usos with ease until Reigns entered the feud.

The Bloodline team worked together to send a message to Fatu. As Pearce came out to officially announce Fatu's dismissal, he took the microphone and spoke to Reigns. He wanted “Tribal Combat.”

It seems that Reigns agreed and a match was scheduled for the Clash in Italy on May 31 for the World Heavyweight Championship again.

“Tribal Combat” was the most used match between Bloodline team members to crown the “King of the Nation.” Reigns has been in each of the last two matches, defeating Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa. The two were forced to accept him as their national king after being defeated by Reigns.

Fatu will have to do the same if he ends up losing to Reigns for the second time in a row.

Seth Rollins came to Raw with a challenge from Bron Breaker, saying Breaker couldn't beat him on his own. Instead, he found another Vision member, Austin Theory.

Rollins admitted that he had no partner on Raw and had to take out The Vision by himself. At least one person appeared to be in Rollins' corner – Street Profits tag team member Angelo Dawkins.

“Look family, we're not supposed to be friends. Well, we're not supposed to trust each other. I can't speak for 'Tez, but last week, I looked good,” Dawkins told Rollins before a recent match with Theory.

Rollins said he understands that no one has his back, but he thanked Dawkins for his words and apologized for being abused by Breaker's spear last week.

Rollins and Theory's match drew fans to the end of Raw with Rollins trying to do as much damage as he could before Theory and Logan Paul defended the tag titles against Street Profits at Saturday Night's Main Event.

Rollins got the win over Theory with a Pedigree.

As Paul came in to beat Rollins, Dawkins came out to make the save. The tables quickly turned on him, allowing Montez Ford to share the frustration. Ford questioned Dawkins' involvement and saved him from Breaker's spear.

Rollins returned to the ring and began going after Brecker. But after being interrupted by Paul, Breaker hit a spear. Rollins and Breaker began to follow and were separated by Pearce and the officials.
