Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., will oust Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., from Congress following reports of sexual misconduct and harassment, arguing that he has no place in the House.
Luna joined “Saturday in America” to announce the move, demanding accountability from members of Congress. He said it would be “unacceptable” for Swalwell to end his bid for prime minister while still in office.
Swalwell is accused by a former employee of sexually assaulting him while drunk. The San Francisco Chronicle first broke the story of the anonymous former employee, and three more women have spoken to CNN about the alleged misconduct.

Luna says Swalwell should not remain in office while facing these allegations and plans to submit a disciplinary motion next week.
“If the Democrats want to protect this kind of garbage, I'm not going to recommend it, though [going to] he should be put on the board for that,” said Luna, adding that he does not believe that he should be paid by the taxpayers while the scandals continue.
The congressman asked the alleged victims to come to his office, saying they “deserve a platform” and that it should be clear to the lawmakers.

“I hate to be the guardian of the hall of Congress, if you will, but it's getting worse,” Luna said.
Fox News Digital has reached out to Swalwell's congressional office, as well as his gubernatorial campaign, for comment on Luna's comments.
“I'm not [going to] work with the sexually deviant. That is not what the Congress is saying. And I think we have to focus on the business of the American people, and it doesn't include these things,” he added later.

“A lot has been said about me today with anonymous allegations, and I thought it was important for you to see and hear from me directly. These allegations of sexual harassment are blatant lies,” Swalwell said in a video posted on Friday.
“They are two lies, they never happened, they never happened. And I will fight them with everything I have.”
