Ana de Armas is enjoying the first few days of summer.
The 38-year-old actress shared a series of new photos on Instagram, many of which showed her in a bikini while partying poolside with friends.
One of the photos shows de Armas cuddling her dog as she sits with her legs in the water in a patterned thong bikini which she pairs with a stack of bracelets.
She is seen wearing the same bikini in many other photos, which show her hugging her friends, sitting at a table playing a board game, sitting by the pool and laughing with her friends and sitting at the edge of the pool as she dunks her dog in the water.

“These are good times,” one fan wrote in the comments section, while another added, “Salsita and Elvis get a tan 😍❤️,” referring to her two dogs.
Other photos show her flaunting her toned body in a pair of red shorts and a matching red bra, which she paired with a blue headband tied around her head.

The actress started in Cuban and Spanish cinema before moving to Hollywood in 2014. He had small roles in big movies before he had his breakthrough in the 2017 movie “Blade Runner 2049.” He later received major recognition for his work in the 2019 film, “Knives Out.”
Her role in “Knives Out” earned her a Golden Globe nomination, which led to her starring role in “Blonde,” starring Marilyn Monroe, for which she won an Academy Award.

“I tried!” the Cuban-born actress told the Sunday Times in 2021 about nailing Monroe. “It only took me nine months of dialect teaching, and practice, and some ADR sessions. It was excruciating, exhausting. My mind was fried.”
Although the Academy applauded her work in the film, the “Ballerina” star initially received backlash when it was announced that she would star in the film.

Many criticized the choice of a Cuban actress to play Monroe, with one writing that her “heavy voice” prevented her from sounding like herself.
“Am I the only one who isn't surprised that Ana De Armas sounds awful in the trailer for Blonde?” one X user wrote. “Her speaking is very difficult, it will take a lot for her to sound as convincing as Marilyn.”

Amid the criticism, actor Brad Pitt, whose production company, Plan B, produced the film, defended himself, telling Entertainment Tonight at the time that he was a “miracle” in the movie.
“It's a difficult mantle to fill,” he said. “It was 10 years in the making. It wasn't until we found Ana that we were able to cross the line.”
