America's 250th anniversary will be celebrated by corporate America this July 4th

The owners of Crumbly Cafe & Bakery celebrate the American Dream by running the country
Mia and Andrej Miladinovic, owners of Crumbly Cafe & Bakery, are presenting a series of patriotic celebratory events for America's 250th anniversary. They discuss how the Fourth of July is their biggest holiday, embodying the American Dream for them as immigrants who have built a successful small business. Their desserts, like the American flag cake, represent their journey.

I love a good celebration, and Americans know how to go out and celebrate. Whether it's Halloween, Christmas or a major sporting event, we decorate, dress up, have themed and symbolic food and celebrate a particular holiday or milestone. And, as Americans, we go hard.
So, I've been looking forward to lots of red, white and green patriotism from all over as we look towards 2026, the 250th anniversary of our declaration of independence from England and a milestone celebration of the founding of our great country.
Now, as we're just a week away from the 4th of July, I find myself looking back.

Capitalism, it seems, has failed to celebrate America's 250th birthday.
In a world of smart people looking to lean on every available opportunity, it seems like our 250 was a waste. Sure, you can find merchandise here and there, or your standard 4th of July fare, but the economic response to this historic event has been milquetoast at best.
I expected to see t-shirts, T-shirts, sweaters and more in red, white and blue, emblazoned with oversized “America 250” and “America: Established 1776.” I expected to see accessories with the stars and stripes proudly along with the “250.” I expected every grocery store product, from condiments to candy, to not only include red, white and blue varieties, but to mark America's 250th anniversary.
DAVID MARCUS: AS A NATION BICKERS, YOUNG AMERICA STILL LOVES THE GAME
Where are the crazy themed decorations, 250 balloons and souvenir knick-knacks? Where are the Uncle Sams blasts on the suburban lawn? Where are the special festivals and events? Big apple baking contests?
Why, when I walk down the street, isn't it covered in red, white and blue from top to bottom and huge “America's 250th” banners, not just on the 4th of July, but all year long?
We seem to have seen more American patriotism from foreigners visiting America for the FIFA World Cup than we have seen from American industry.
NEW DIRECTOR'S 2024 'REAGAN' BIOPIC WILL RETURN TO AMERICA'S 250TH ANNIVERSARY
Corporate America tends to jump on any theme, event or milestone. The fact that they have ignored America's 250th is incredibly disappointing. For those who might say they don't want to get too involved in “politics,” not only has it not stopped them in the past, but, moreover, the founding of our country is not about a political party.
In fact, the American 250 is about all of us as individuals. America was founded on a unique idea, to support and protect our individual rights as individuals. It is an event to celebrate freedom and to celebrate people in government. It is a celebration of defying the odds through ingenuity, ingenuity and strategy and the willingness to put ideas into action.

The country is ours as Americans, regardless of what you think of anyone or everyone in government at any given time.

That's something worth celebrating, loudly, proudly and with an obscene amount of themed merchandise.
With half a year gone, it's a little late to the game, but it's not too late for capitalism. I hope July 4th will be the beginning of a wave of patriotism for you. We have the greatest country in the world and it deserves a proper celebration.
