Running Point's Guest Cameos: Scott Disick, Macaulay Culkin

Running point found new ways to surprise viewers with star-studded on-screen cameos — including Scott Disick again Macaulay Culkin.

The new Netflix series, which started in 2025, is next Kate Hudson as a changed party girl who gets a chance to prove herself when she is left in charge of her family's pro basketball team.

In addition to Hudson, Running point stars Scott MacArthur, Fabrizio Guido, Chet Hanks, Toby Sandeman, Justin Theroux, Drew Tarver, Brenda Song again Uche Agada. This comedy also prides itself on its star-studded cameos.

While talking to Us Weekly prior to season 2, several actors expressed support for a possible appearance from Hudson's stepfather, Kurt Russell. Us suggested that Russell play Gordon's late patriarch back in April 2026, which the cast happily joined.

MacArthur, who plays Ness, joked that he “always thought of” Russell as his father, adding, “So I'm in.” Guido, who plays Gordon's newcomer Jackie, said he would like to share the screen with Russell.

“I was there, and I didn't think about it,” he commented, while guest-starring in season 2 Ken Marino he added in his conversation with us, “That would be great! Yes, that's great. Get it out there!”

“That's a good idea,” Stassen said. “And it's been discussed. We've discussed it. If we ever see him, we're not going to do better than Kurt Russell.”
