Taylor Frankie Paul Answers Fans' Healing Advice

Taylor Frankie Paul he politely responded to a fan's advice to get off social media because of his ongoing problems, revealing that he is loyal to himself and his brand.
Secret Lives of Mormon Wives The 31-year-old star shared comments on Monday, April 20, from a fan who advised her to “recover from social media.” Paul took to his Instagram Story to give him the answer.
“That sounds like a reasonable answer, however, I would be doing the opposite,” he replied. “I will continue to share on social media and show how bad healing can be. Making and editing videos is my way of processing like people who like to write in a journal.”
Paul continued, “This is my way and I choose to share it. [that is] it is understandable. I'm not much.”
The reality star added that she shared the interaction to serve as a “friendly reminder” to fans of how she deals with her personal struggles.
Paul has had his fair share of ups and downs over the past few months. Earlier this year, news broke that Mormon Wives had halted production on season 5 due to a domestic violence incident between Paul and his ex-wife. Dakota Mortensen in February. Following the news of the domestic violence investigation Paul's season of The Bachelorette – which was supposed to premiere in March – was also pulled by ABC.
Earlier this month, Us Weekly confirmed that Paul will not be charged in the February incident involving him and Mortensen, 33.
“After reviewing the reports and evidence submitted to the Draper Police Department and the West Jordan Police Department, the Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office has declined to file charges against Taylor Frankie Paul,” said the District Attorney. After the DA's decision, Paul took to social media to react to the good news.
“You cried when I got a call. THANK YOU to those who stood by me,” he wrote on his Instagram story.
Although Paul is no longer facing domestic violence charges, he is still at loggerheads with Mortensen over custody. Both Paul and Mortensen filed temporary restraining orders against each other, and Mortensen won custody of their 2-year-old son, Ever.
Paul has been granted supervised visitation for at least six hours a week until a defense hearing later this month. The judge will reexamine Paul's parenting time limits at trial. (Taylor is also mother to daughter Indy, 8, and son Ocean, 5, with her ex-husband. Father Paul.)
Earlier Monday, Taylor shared that she was diagnosed with PTSD “two years ago,” once again being open and honest with her fans.

I just want to heal so I can try to help people through this,” Taylor wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of herself smiling at the TIME100 Creators event in 2025.
