The Young and the Restless Next Week: Matt Lures Sharon Into His Deadly Twisted Trap!

The Young and the Restless Spoilers for next week reveal Sharon Newman (Sharon's Case) gets into trouble when Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) He attracts all the people he wants to spend in Las Vegas. Looks like he'll be doing all the dirty work right there in Sin City.

We got the latest Y&R spoilers for the week of April 20, including Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) surprising Danny Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Nate Hastings hooking up with Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Sharon And Noah Go To Vegas On The Young And The Restless

Okay, let's talk about what happened in Las Vegas first. Because it looks like Sharon and Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) are about to walk into Matt Clark's demonic trap. At the end of this week, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) called Sharon to tell her that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) was missing and the whole, you know, OD death thing and Matt took Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to see him.

And Sharon freaks out, of course, and Chelsea promises to keep Sharon posted. Matt then went back after attacking and shutting down Adam and Nick. And then Matt did this horrible thing with Chelsea at the end of the week. He just walked up to him and accused Matt of liking to break into people. And she tells him that Nick and Adam were stuck where they didn't belong.

Suspicious Chelsea on Y&R

Chelsea suspects that Nick and Adam are still in the building just because, you know, Matt hasn't been gone that long and has easily returned to taunt her. So Chelsea wants Matt to tell her to catch Nick and Adam. Chelsea asks Matt to tell her that Nick isn't dead. But Matt insists that Nick is really as dead as the door. And Matt gets even bolder. And he tells Chelsea that his persuasion is hot. Then Matt leaves Chelsea to wait and worry.

Meanwhile, Adam wakes up after being covered with a fire extinguisher and checks Nick's heartbeat and wakes up his brother, freeing him. So, Adam wants to know if Nick is on drugs. But, of course, like an addict, she denies it and says that Matt is lying and saying untrue things about her. So, you know, Adam says to abandon you. Because I think you know full well that Nick is lying. And he tells Adam that Matt drugged him once again instead of killing him. And Adam tells Nick that Chelsea is also in Vegas. Nick is actually happy to hear that Sharon didn't come to Vegas.

Adam notices a landline in the bedroom, which is Matt's sloppiness, unless he did it on purpose and he's listening in on phones or something. What I wouldn't put past him. He is a chess master. So, Adam calls Chelsea and Nick to hide his drugs. Then Chelsea shows up and opens the door and lets them out. And when they're back upstairs at the hotel, Nick runs to the bathroom. He has to do his drugs. And Adam tells Chelsea that he thinks Nick is an addict. And he comes back to tell Adam and Chelsea that they need to find Matt before he goes to Genoa City. But he doesn't need to go. He attracts people.

Matt Impersonates Nick on The Young and the Restless

So, Matt has Nick's phone that he takes from him and he texts Sharon and pretends to be Nick. And he tells her that he kidnapped Matt and that Sharon should come to Vegas to be there when he takes Matt down. So Sharon updates Noah and says that Chelsea told her that Nick disappeared and Sharon saw a text from Matt pretending to be Nick. He sends a message again thinking it's his ex and Sharon says they're on their way. So, Matt writes back that he can't wait to see Sharon again next week The Young and the Restless spoilers we get Matt finally getting his dirty hands on Sharon.

So, we'll have Sharon and Noah coming from Vegas next week. They're in an outlying area near what appears to be an abandoned building, and it looks like Matt has lured them away from the crowded strip to a more remote, more dangerous area.

So, I wonder if Sharon at some point called Chelsea and told her that Nick and Adam were safe and that Sharon wasn't texting with Nick, that Matt had his phone. So, as Sharon and Noah explore the abandoned place, Sharon is worried and asks if Noah thinks they should go inside or not. Now, he's hot as Nick, so I'm going to guess he wants in.

Nate runs into Stephanie on Y&R

Again, next week Y&R, pirates have an interesting encounter. Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) runs into Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), and Stephanie asks Nate how he knows Olivia Winters. So, Stephanie obviously doesn't know who she's talking to when she first sees him. And when Nate says Olivia is his mom, Stephanie gets excited and says, “Nate, Nate Hastings. Oh my God.” And if you don't remember, her mother Olivia and Drucilla Winters make a match and get Stephanie and Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) to start dating. If it wasn't for Nate's mother, Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) would never have been born. So I think Nate will be surprised by all of that.

Christine has a surprise for Danny

Elsewhere in Genoa City, spoilers for next week Christine tells Danny that she has a little surprise of her own, but it's actually quite a surprise. Not a bit. So, I wonder what it is. Christine likes to surprise him, and I wonder if she will join Danny on his trip to Barcelona. You know, maybe he'll have wrapped up Mariah's stuff by then.

Summer Conglomerate Comes Down to the Young and the Restless

Meanwhile, at the end of this week at the stolen company of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Summer Newman's conglomerate, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) makes a big romantic gesture. He fills Lauren Fenmore's (Tracey E. Bregman) office with flowers and candles, and Michael gives Lauren a wristwatch to remind her that their love is timeless, unless it's digital.

How do you tell the time on a wristwatch? Anyway, Michael tells Lauren that working with Phyllis is either crazy or brave, but Michael won't stop Lauren from pursuing her dreams. But his dream of setting the world on fire with Phyllis looks set to go up in flames next week.

The Young and the Restless: Victor's show launches?

So, the latest The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lauren asks Michael what's going on. He says there is no good way to say it. Summer's Conglomerate he goes down. And if you remember, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) said he would use it Councillor to take Phyllis down and get back what she stole. So it sounds like Victor may be kicking his plan into high gear during the May sweeps, which starts on Thursday next week.

So, I wonder if Michael found out from Victor what was going on. Because he promised Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) that he would try to talk to Victor and get more information about going down with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and the boat. Because Victor still denies that he got Jack drunk and that's the important information Diane needs.

The Jack And Nikki show on Y&R

Also, at the end of this week, we saw Jack and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) talk about their broken marriages, and they were talking about how they have to make Victor and Diane jealous in order to get them to where their spouses want to try and really fix things. Now, I don't think this is a good idea.

But it looks like Jack and Nikki may be the ones doing some kind of romance or reconciliation to try and scare Victor and Diane outright. But I think that would be a big mistake. Because it would probably further separate Victor from Nikki and Diane from Jack. And I think it will bring Nikki and Jack back if they go there.
