Bunnie Xo Jokes About Jelly Roll Wedding Being A Prison Bid

Bunny Xo sets the record straight on the speculation surrounding his divorce Jelly Roll.
“I saw this story online where people were like, 'Bunnie was embarrassing Jelly.' That's why he wanted a divorce. 'She's not ready for her PR,'” Bunnie, 46, said on the Friday, June 26, episode of her “Dumb Blonde” podcast. “Please, it's not me, OK. It's not me, and that's completely false.”
After their breakup, Bunnie (real name Alisa DeFord) told listeners that his DMs are open. While some podcast listeners wrote in asking for advice, others wrote “crazy” things.
Friday's episode of the podcast was an “ask, tell, admit” episode, meaning listeners wrote to Bunnie. Another message came from a man who was getting out of a “10-year bid” in prison asking for “time” with him when he is released.
“What I don't like is that he said, 'Let me go out and spend time with you.' That's when it's like, OK, so you expect me to take this first day out?” said Bunny. “Listen, I just came out of a 10-year bid, and I'm confused, what are we talking about?”
Bunnie was laughing when he told the audience that he would “get a call” from Jelly (real name Jason Bradley DeFord) after that comment.
“I'm sorry, it's okay,” she said. “Just cutting the rug, friend.”
Jelly filed for divorce in Tennessee on May 18. However, their separation news did not go public until June 15.
“On Mother's Day, we had a little argument, which I don't think details are necessary,” Bunnie explained on the June 18 episode of her “Dumb Blonde” podcast, detailing what led to their breakup.
“I was so tired and worn out that I just looked at him and said, 'Well, then send the f***ing divorce papers,'” she said. And in our relationship, that's one thing you can say.” Although my husband has said it many times because he is a runner.”
Apparently Jelly was so “crazy” that he did what he said.
“Did I disagree? And was this divorce mutually exclusive? “Even though I told him to file the divorce papers, I was speaking out of anger and resentment.”
Bunnie called Jelly her “best friend” despite their breakup.
“I don't care how our relationship fell apart, it wasn't that. “I was riding with this motherf***er until the wheels fell off. I didn't care. I felt like we deserved a chance to go to therapy and figure s*** out. He didn't feel that way and I respect it.”
